EPIC Table Saw Build – The Lift and Tilt
EPIC Table Saw Build – The Lift and Tilt
Project build article:
This is the first in a series of videos that covers the building of a professional quality table saw from the ground up. This one focuses on the heart of the project – the lift and tilt mechanism.
I post as they happen photos of the progress of this project (and all of the others I’m working on) on Instagram:

Are you going to have plans.
Love your builds, Like Matthias’s but accurate and well made.
Using a table saw to build a table saw is totally purposeless for many diyers… dont waste your time on this video.
I’m simply using Vaseline … and spreading it on with my finger..
where I can buy arbor ?
I can ask for a link
Really nice work with lots of patience and attention to detail. Thank you. Something I don’t understand……Is the press fit of the bearings into the wooden holes enough to keep the bearings from spinning over time?
This is awesome
Es bonito proyecto me gustaría realizarlo pero si proporciona las medidas sería más beneficioso para mi proyecto
Gracias por su apollo
Сложная конструкция…
Excelent
Would you give me the schema of the table saw you made?
it would be nice and very usefull to me
thanks from indonesia wood lover

Nice job. I’m going to build one when I win the lottery. Baltic Birch is expensive here, if you can even get it.
What screws does he use?

If only my dad was still around he would love your video, from 1994-2006 my dad used to be a respectable and renound furniture buisnismen but then he had a stroke he passed away in 2018
Oh man I want visit you for training Wats the cost
Nice video
Amazing!
I’ve seen other table saws made of wood, but the ones I’ve seen were lacking a decent trunion.
Good job, but plans are not avaible yet
This is so over complicated for a diy guy, but no good for a professional, has they would just buy a good table saw.
I normally love your videos, but this one no
It’s work?
Jeeee you have Latvian birch plywood, im from Latvia too.
John, check out MDO and HDO plywood for projects like this. (And don’t let the "MD*" trick you into thinking of glued-together saw dust.)
These designations are high strength plywood made usually of Fir. They have a smooth mat "kraft" finish. MDO is often used by sign painters. HDO is more heavy duty with a waterproof glue often used to make silky smooth concrete forms.
Did you ever swap out the screwdriver handles for wheels to speed up the the saw adjustments? That wore my wrist out just watching you turn those handles.
Genial
wow !
how did it take u to do all of this? just curious please and thank you..thumbs up
Идея хорошая и на вид крепко всё выглядит правда нихрена не понятно. И думаю стоит фанеру обработать влагостойким составом чуть разбухнет и капец поведёт всю конструкцию.

Awesome build! I Where can i purchase the project plans?
Good job.
Sei il migliore!
I love this videos where you need a table saw to build the table saw you want.
Incredible build. I can’t wait to see the completed saw!
perfect…
Wonderful
I must’ve missed it but where is the centre of tilt pivot or fulcrum located. Is it aligned with the centre axis of the sawblade width and the closest point to the underside of the table that movement will allow. I am supposing that the blade at the table slot must not move in an arc when blade angle is changed.
