I may be mistaken but I believe you may find the results are better with the 4 amp battery.

  2. Scott Snell on May 21, 2022 at 7:57 pm

Crap, I just ordered this with a battery combo for $78.00 with a hack. It’s clear from your video that this saw is way under powered. I will return it when it comes in. I’m a Dewalt guy, but don’t want to pay $169.00 for the Dewalt since I don’t do enough jig sawing to justify it. Might just try the Ryobi 18V cordless. About $69.00.

  3. KONAMAN Studio on May 21, 2022 at 7:58 pm

They need to come out with a fuel version it’s a very old model Keep it going Waiting for you guys to go live again
    👍🏻🍻🍺🍕

  4. WICKED WELDING on May 21, 2022 at 7:59 pm

Your review sucks. It shakes up and down because you didn’t clamp your materials down. You stated your a dewalt guy. So your biased opinion doesn’t really matter hope real tool guys see that. Remover it’s 12 volt not 18 volt difference come on man

  5. yor selrus on May 21, 2022 at 7:59 pm

As a Milwaukee Fanboy, I appreciate your honesty. I dont like buying subpar tools just because i have 9 Milwaukee batteries that need a home. There is always adapters to use milwaukee batteries dewalt or makita tools

  6. Doug Fowler on May 21, 2022 at 7:59 pm

Thank you for this review! I had this in my cart, but have removed it. Went with DeWalt and haven’t looked back.

  7. Layne In Chains on May 21, 2022 at 8:03 pm

I think the battery was a bit to small for that saw I would use at least a 4.0 with it… also the Fuel is probably the way to go. I have the M18 Fuel D handle and I swear it’s a beast. Good honest review though. I was thinking of getting the barrel handle M12 if they make a Fuel version

  8. L allen on May 21, 2022 at 8:08 pm

    dont use 1.5 battery on a saw…

  9. Moetivated always on May 21, 2022 at 8:08 pm

The m12 is supposed to be used for small projects, not big construction projects. It works great for what I need it for, if I need to do big jobs I whip out that m18! That’s a badass jigsaw

  10. 93sundance on May 21, 2022 at 8:10 pm

Alot if good those safety glasses are doing on your hat. At least you look the part.

  11. iloveknives75 on May 21, 2022 at 8:11 pm

I was worried about this being brushed and not having enough power. You can pick it up with the current hack for $50, but I think I’ll pass

  12. Eric V on May 21, 2022 at 8:18 pm

Model 2445-21 is not a "newer version" of model 2445-20. The 1 simply indicates it is model "2445-20" in a kit with (1) battery, which adds the 1 at the end of the bare tool model number.

  13. Moetivated always on May 21, 2022 at 8:19 pm

I’m kinda disappointed that your comparing a 12v with a 20v. Match it up with the m18 jigsaw and see the difference lol

  14. DrugTalk 101 on May 21, 2022 at 8:19 pm

    You’re also comparing a 20 V tool to a 12 V tool let’s use our brains here

  15. Guicho Zambada on May 21, 2022 at 8:21 pm

Have you try the m12 fuel jigsaw?

  16. War Pigs on May 21, 2022 at 8:23 pm

Welp, I’ve decided I needa stick with my 20v tools. the 12v doesnt have enough power for me either. My dewalt 20v router on the other hand….

  17. Multi Gaming Universe on May 21, 2022 at 8:25 pm

You need to try it with a larger battery and see if their is a difference

  18. wasim486 on May 21, 2022 at 8:25 pm

Been using it and bosch for 5 years cutting holes in drywall ceilings, the lightweight overhead is fantastic. The bosch was more comfortable but I got an m12 battery 3-pack on black Friday for 100 bucks so I use the m12 more because I usually have something charged

  19. Passions on May 21, 2022 at 8:26 pm

Thank you for the video! There’s way too many complainers here 😂

  20. Devon Keller on May 21, 2022 at 8:27 pm

You can’t compare a 12v saw to a 20v saw lol The 18v would be a fair comparison to be honest . for 12v brushed tool I can’t complain

  21. korean zombie on May 21, 2022 at 8:28 pm

It caught because you only had one side of the support on the timber and you let it offset.

  22. Brian Reinhardt on May 21, 2022 at 8:29 pm

If you watch this video, you can see a possible dust collection adapter for Milwaukee jigsaws.

  23. simonlang2001 on May 21, 2022 at 8:30 pm

the 4 amp hour or 6 amp hour batteries will make a difference

  24. Jeep Troll on May 21, 2022 at 8:30 pm

Expecting a unbias opinion from someone with a wall full of Dewalt is a nonstarter. Invite a hardcore Milwaukee person to handle the red tools for you. Even better if it’s a female friend just because no one I know of is. Saying it’s underpowered with a 1.5 amp hour battery is just disingenuous. If more power is needed the M12 4.0 XC battery is the best choice and ups the power substantially.

  25. Hammer and Home on May 21, 2022 at 8:30 pm

  26. Jake E on May 21, 2022 at 8:31 pm

Try it with a bigger battery it may have more power

  27. Isaac Villarreal on May 21, 2022 at 8:31 pm

Why is there no comparison of this to the Makita 12v jigsaw!?

  28. Doug Perrenoud on May 21, 2022 at 8:32 pm

No orbital action is what slows it down. Works well for fine cuts, not so much for fast rough cuts.

  29. Andre Williamson on May 21, 2022 at 8:33 pm

Imagine using a full size jigsaw then saying an m12 is under powered.

  30. Ted McDonald on May 21, 2022 at 8:34 pm

Thanks for the review Brad 😎😍😎😍😎 wondering if you can put a Collins coping foot on it??? I love my DeWalt D handle too!!!

  31. WICKED WELDING on May 21, 2022 at 8:37 pm

    Your biased period

  32. GUSTAVO ROSALES on May 21, 2022 at 8:38 pm

Bro it is in the tittle its a compact jig saw of course its not gonna be the same as the full size
Compare m18 milwaukee to that dewalt 20v

  33. Sten Møller on May 21, 2022 at 8:38 pm

I use Mafell and Festool but, as you say, at times they are too big. So I’ll be getting the Milwaukee M12 exactly because of it’s tiny size and the other thing: other brilliant tools in the M12 range that I like. As it’s an only an extra and not for everyday or heavy use, I think it will meet with my expectations. If it hadn’t been for the other Milwaukee M12 tools, I might well have gone for another brand.

  34. bufunga on May 21, 2022 at 8:38 pm

Bet now that you got some proper tools(Milwaukee) youll be acquiring some quality viewers. Just kidding, but seriously.

  35. Bryan Bahling on May 21, 2022 at 8:39 pm

The M18 Milwaukee does destroy the DeWalt, but you’re comparing 12v to 20v…. Huge difference.

  36. Tyler Hanks on May 21, 2022 at 8:41 pm

You do realize you’re comparing a 12v to a 20v? If you want a fair comparison compare it to the Milwaukee 18v

  37. jhippl on May 21, 2022 at 8:44 pm

i tried this one and it felt anemic compared to even other 12v saws, which i know arent as powerful as 18v+. I ended up with a skil 12v jigsaw for my small/tight work. Makita also makes a really nice small 12v jigsaw but it was out of my price range. The bosch one is even more anemic than this one so its a hard pass for me.

  38. Yayee on May 21, 2022 at 8:47 pm

how do you take off the plastic bit underneath the blade

  39. Street Level Critic on May 21, 2022 at 8:48 pm

Just got this tool in the mail yesterday. Gonna get a set of Diablo blades to go with it. Heard they are a great pairing. Great video.

  40. USA_ALL THE WAY🇺🇸 on May 21, 2022 at 8:51 pm

Dude, your comparing apples to grapefruits…try using an m18 fuel jig saw against that Dewalt.

  41. Devon Keller on May 21, 2022 at 8:51 pm

I’ve owned mines for about 6 yrs now great little 12v jigsaw. Heavly used in a daily maintenance setting & it’s still kicking ass lol. Just can’t wait for a brushless fuel version . We will see what happens….

  42. rac 4714 on May 21, 2022 at 8:52 pm

If they haven’t yet, they need a fuel version
