I have a corded Bauer random orbit sander that has outperformed a DeWalt and Craftsman version of the same sander at twice the price. This jigsaw looks good too.

Good video. You had me sold on buy it until I saw it had the same blade loading gizmo as the Bosch JS260, which broke on me and cost more to fix then buying a new one.

Great video, how was the laser function?

I was getting ready to buy one, but going to have to pass. I needed a light to shine down on the area when cutting. I did order a Pittsburg adjustable shop stool, Pittsburg torque wrench 1/2" drive and brake bleeder vacuum pump kit, stool should be here tomorrow.

Thanks for making the video. It saved me a trip back to the store. I was kinda worried that it wasn’t engaging on the first speed. Yours was the same. Cheers!

Thank you, thank you. You were the only person who instructed to pull the blade back then push down to get the blade to load correctly.

i bought the chicago electric jigsaw and it is very similar to this one. i have been having a hard time getting the blade to stay in, and it looks like your video may have solved that for me. i did not know about pushing the blade back while inserting the blade. i pulled it hard and it did not come out, so i assumed it was locked in. i go to make a cut and the blade would pop out. i will try pushing back when inserting the blade and i bet it corrects this issue. thank you for your video

This looks a lot like the Avid Power I just got from Amazon but man, I cannot get that blade to set. Any ideas?

Why doesn’t this come with a real manufactures warranty? Only 90 day’s? You have to pay extra for a couple year warranty!?

A shitty review for a shitty product 🤷‍♂️

Thanks! I like it. I’m going to get it today. I like the T shank blades. I do a lot of specialty remodeling and the slow speed start is a definite bonus for me.

I have had one for about a year now, the only problem I have had is that the trigger lock would not disengage, so the saw ran constantly. I was able to pop the trigger lock out and I cut the little "leg" off of the lock. now it shuts off when I release the trigger( I did put the the button back in).

Thanks for the review. I bought one but I didn’t want to waste a lot of time with the manual. You showed me quickly how to put the blade in. I was late on the cutting a circle option and I had already played with the button while the saw was on, but I only did that for a short bit and I wasn’t cutting. This is my second, possibly my third jigsaw. I know one that I had, the one I remember well only has about a 5 inch cord. It was a super cheap plastic body Black and Decker jigsaw. So this saw is a beast compared to that piece of junk. The other saw had a set screw to hold the blade in place. The other saw was pretty much a toy, but then I had it when I was a teenager.
