I bought the Jack Plane and it came with a mini plane, I of course wanted to use it, but it required a little bit of work to make it usable, as purchased it had a few problems

What about the Jack Plane itself? I bought the set today at a local HF. I’m just starting out, and after only having tried the mini I’m underwhelmed lol. I’m tempted to return and trying to find an antique Stanley or something.
Lol !!! you most have a huge shop ( put a sign outside saying ( Harbor Freight ) open to the public , 6am to 9:pm 😂 lol
