Harbor Freight Review 4 Inch Mighty Mite Table Saw
Harbor Freight Review 4 Inch Mighty Mite Table Saw
This is a review of the Harbor Freight 4″ Mighty-Mite Table Saw I received for Christmas. This is to be used to cut small parts for doll houses, bird houses, dowel rods, and so forth. I will be using the saw in some upcoming projects so be sure to check back. Please Like and Subscribe for more Harbor Freight Reviews. Comments and questions are always welcome. Thanks for watching! Many more Harbor Freight reviews coming, I purchase most of my tools from them.

The Saw https://www.harborfreight.com/4-in-mighty-mite-table-saw-with-blade-61608.html?_br_psugg_q=mini+table+saw
Take a close look at the blade, its stamped out. After sharpening it the cut is good. Does your motor say "sewing machine use only", mine does. Its great for dollhouse furniture.
I need one of these
I bought one of these about 5 yrs ago to help with cutting thin small pieces in my scroll saw woodcraft shop. Put a carbide tipped blade on it right out of the box. It sits on a self in the shop. The saw is so under powered it struggles to cut through a single popsicle stick. I stepped up to the pump and bought a Micro Lux tilt arbor precision table saw, yeah it was on the pricey side at 400$ but it is all the saw I will ever need. Had it for little over a year now and it has been fantastic!. I’m not knocking harbor freight as the little 8"X12" mini lathe I got from them is now over 5 yes old and has allowed me to produce several thousand dollars worth of ornaments, only costing about 15.00 in repair, (I had to replace the head stock bearings a year ago). The little mighty mite saw on the other hand is a waste of time and money.
I think 🤔 this should be addressed to the company. Having this table saw shipped to ya with the blade in the “UP”position, sounds dangerous upon opening the box 📦. It would be as simple as the company shipping this with the blade in the “DOWN” position, OR the company affixing a plastic guard over the blade, snapped into place. The blade probably finds it’s way to the “UP”position while in shipment, so the use of a plastic guard over it, would be the company’s viable option. I don’t find this to be Harbor Freight’s fault, but the company’s instead. Your friend, Jeff.
Thanks for a nice review. I have been debating on whether or not I was going to buy one of these. Your review and a 25% off coupon just helped me make my decision. I am almost out the door…..
can you gift this to me 😊
How much?Do you need to change out the blades for different kinds of wood your cutting?
I just put mine together. It won’t turn on. The switch is bad. Frustrating.
table extension = 2-24"x24"x 1/2" pieces of plywood, cut sq hole in middle to fit table and one a little smaller, attach to table saw, attach 4 small legs if needed
What’s the minimum depth this will cut?
hey thank you for taking the time to unbox, set up and how to use. I just need it to do some crafts I do. and a hand saw kills me. I never had an… elec. saw so the instructions were just too …. well not to my understanding. I do better by visuals. again thank you.
Great for model builders
Great review! Did you ever make a bigger table for this saw? If so, could you please do an update and show how you built one? Best regards!
Ha,ha,ha, that is what my wife will get me.
Why do you envelope your video. Pleas do the video in full 1080. 16:9 format
Thanks for the review. I just bought one of these and still have it in the box. Wanted to see what others think of it first. Thanks again.
I bought one in October 2022 had a horrible time taking of the nut to replace the blade then small pieces of metal are falling onto the counter..what the heck??? could not get the nut screwed back on to even use. Returned and bought another one a month later and had the same problem changing blades. Same thing little pieces came of metal were coming off onto the counter…what the hell????returned POS
Harbor freight’s tools are great for home hobbies,
Will this mini table saw cut PCV pipe?
I have some 1x2s that are 18.5 inches long, would this be able to strip them down to 1 inch?
This is a great addition to my craft room tool’s. Work’s amazing for what I use it for.
Hello, it’s this good to cutting 3" wide aluminum bars?
Just got it, and I’m diggin it.. neat Lil guy this saw is.. thanks for the review.. your review had me check out the saw..
I bet you could cut pretzels in half with this mighty little thing! lol
I just want to build 6-7 "Shaker Face Fronts" cabinet doors without spending $130 Plus for a table saw!. I heard you say it will cut 3/4 inch wood. Do you or anyone else here believe that 3/4 plywood would be too challenging? Or with time I could cut the plywood and maybe eventually fry the table saw out? Thanks to anyone who responds
Can it cut pvc?
IS TABLE SAW BLADE ADJUSTABLE?
Is there a way to make it stronger, i try to cut a .5 in pc of wood and was impossible, so am wonder if there is a way to put more force to it
Before you use it I suggest you test to make sure the blade is tight.
Question would this work for popsicle sticks ??
This is a joke an insult to tools.
can i use a 4 inch diamond blade on it?
did you get over your silly animation bullshit?
Looks great for cutting toothpicks!
Thanks for the vid. Looks cool.
I just bought this and the instructions are lacking. Thank you so much for doing this!
Mine lasted 30 minutes and quit working
Hi, did you do a review of the drill press or the router?
Other then cutting tile, what is the main purpose of these little saws?
Definitely needs a better blade. That one is horrible! !
Thank you for your video 👍🏽
I know this is an old review, but I just bought one, and sort of wonder if they improved the Mighty Mite table saw over the years.
Did you try the 4" diamond blade that came with it ?
I bought this to use with some custom knife work involving cutting some Sambar stag scales and rolls for some knives… not sure about the 3/4" cutting limit, but seems like it should work well for my needs.
I just put it together and installed the 4" diamond blade, and did a test on some paint sticks that I had glued togehter (almost 1/2" thick), and it cut very well–nice and clean… a bench bandsaw would be better, but not sure how many of these knife project I will be doing… they are a lot of fun, especially customizing some Opinel knives !
Don’t even bother with the blade guard. Just use glasses and keep you hand away from the blade
Will this cut 2×4?
Thank you for your review!
I love mine! I use it all the time! I wonder if SawStop makes one like this????
Thanks for the video.. I just purchased it… I just wanted something small to cut dowels, the paint sticks from Lowels or home depot and wood rulers and thin pieces of wood to make lanterns, picture frames, crafty things like these.. I hope it is good for what i will use it for.. Nothing fancy… i would love to have a bigger one but for now since this is my first time trying to use a table saw and the price was right. I can not afford the bigger ones right now….
Wonder if the 5 1/4" blade would fit on it, and be able to cut 1x and maybe 2x.
for small projects etc.
happy new year brother!!! (well we’ll see…); u mention in response to a # of comments that u just use this little rig to cut ‘soft wood’, but i’m looking for something to cut VERY small pcs of exotic hardwoods like ebony & coca bola; do u think that it would handle something like that? say 1-4" cuts? it’s certainly has the size & quality i’m looking for, question is does it have the power? did u ever find any OTHER blades?
no rip fence?
