I bought one it lasted 2 months! And I did not use it a lot. Don’t buy it! Get a better one even if you spend a little more money.

Great review! Not sure if you have ever seen the channel "Den of tools," but he has dubbed this table saw the "Finger slicer 2000." It looks incredibly dangerous, especially the unstable stand. You may want to consider a better used one or wait until a moderately priced table goes on sale. I use a Ridgid with the rolling stand that folds up. Great saw, and will serve my needs until I can afford either the Laguna Fusion 2 is the Saw Stop Contractor’s saw
    Keep up the great reviews!

    GARBAGE

  4. bbigloo2029 on December 28, 2021 at 9:51 pm

Pretty sure those holes on the stand are for mounting a board which you can mount the saw to

  5. Bob Stafford on December 28, 2021 at 9:52 pm

    What model is this saw?

  6. Woodman on December 28, 2021 at 9:54 pm

I wouldn’t recommend using a table saw that isn’t secured to a base. In this case, I suggest you could cut 3/4" plywood to the dimensions of the base top and secure it through the existing holes. Then, mount the table saw to the plywood using carriage bolts from the bottom and nuts and washers from the top.

Thanks for the review. Was looking at this in the store and everything about it screams cheap. I envision this being made in some shady Chinese factory. Waiting on the Hercules to go on sale, looks like a much higher quality tool made in a slightly less shady Chinese factory.

That rip fence is a deal breaker for me. If it’s not ultra straight you may as well just rip with a circular saw and a straight edge

  9. Arpad Builds This - Woodworking on December 28, 2021 at 9:59 pm

I wouldn’t get this table saw, not at that price. The rip fence is garbage if you have to eyeball it to get it squared, and the cranks seem to me a cheap plastic. It is very powerful, but I think it is worth half the price. I would spend a little extra money and get a Ryobi table saw, which has a decent rip fence, folding stand, and good power. I have used that for a while, then made the decision to upgrade to a sawstop. The Ryobi is way better for value than the harbor freight saw, since the Ryobi RTS12 costs $20-30 more.

  10. Bob Smoot on December 28, 2021 at 9:59 pm

Under $100 at REGULAR price. Everybody makes one. Makita, Bosch, Hitachi, even Dewalt. ALL are much higher quality!
    Research it.

My issue is I need 32 inches of cut. The only portable saw on the market that can do it is dewalt. Oh and it accepts a dado blade as well. Problem is its 500 dollars! Ugh….

  12. Robert Hood on December 28, 2021 at 9:59 pm

I bought this saw two years ago.A Total piece of junk.burned the motor up first use.

  13. marz3335 on December 28, 2021 at 10:01 pm

I need a 4" blade to cut acrylic — can you get a plastics blade?

  14. glocklvr22 on December 28, 2021 at 10:03 pm

    I have this saw, I wish I never bought it….it’s junk…I hate it….it’s cheap and not worth a penny…

  15. Jeff Garbarek on December 28, 2021 at 10:04 pm

Someone just gave me one for work. Im glad i have something decent for this season of work. Awesome

  16. cole mahaney on December 28, 2021 at 10:04 pm

What were you expecting bud ?

  17. Bruce Boone on December 28, 2021 at 10:05 pm

I have never been able to get the blade plumb. I can get it under a degree which is no problem for most projects. However recently it has become an issue. What has been your experience ?

  18. Vince Conroy on December 28, 2021 at 10:05 pm

Looks like they dont sell it anymore, all they offer is the $329 Hercules version now

  19. Bryan Bahling on December 28, 2021 at 10:09 pm

Yeah that thing is a piece. The Hercules rack and pinion or Skil ts6307 are worth their weight in gold over this saw. I’d use a hand saw over this till I could save enough for the Skil or the Hercules.

  20. Jeff Wallace on December 28, 2021 at 10:10 pm

I have same one. For about four years now. I’m trying to add a few improvements. But the handle broke. Do you know where or how to get replacement? Or he’ll make one.

  21. Ronnie Levis on December 28, 2021 at 10:18 pm

I use a square to setup the fence

  22. MSingleton48 on December 28, 2021 at 10:20 pm

    I bought one. Total garbage!!!

  23. Justin Brown on December 28, 2021 at 10:21 pm

Does this table saw have an extension available?

  24. TJ Rogue on December 28, 2021 at 10:22 pm

Ive only used this saw a few times and i can tell you right now its a piece of shit. The miter gauge gets stuck in the slots. the fence never lines up plumb. the safeguard is useless. The insert traps the wood because it like glued together huge kickback risk. Im considering not using it anymore because im afraid the blade will fly out of it and ninja star me in the forehead. Im just glad i took safety precautions as priority and learn how to handle table saws better before i use one again. I wont be using that thing im just going to get a quality one.

  25. Bob Smoot on December 28, 2021 at 10:24 pm

OK… Disregard my other comment. Many companies DO make/advertise for under $100. Good luck finding ONE! H. F. had none left, but one in back. Bought it.

  26. Stan Kolodin on December 28, 2021 at 10:24 pm

Can we address the fact that his garage is clean and organized. It’s beautiful.

  27. Jeff Garbarek on December 28, 2021 at 10:25 pm

Measure front and back one the blade of you need best. Carpentry isnt metal machinery. Sorry guys. Ive done military specs. Carpentry isnt that.

  28. Danny Andaluz on December 28, 2021 at 10:26 pm

Thx for this video! I’m about to change my window and door trim and was considering this. I’m pulling the trigger! Thx again!

  29. Mario Arvizu on December 28, 2021 at 10:28 pm

Really useful information and very objective explanations. Thanks.

  30. Salam IQ on December 28, 2021 at 10:28 pm

this thing is discontinued, they have a new version now from warrior

  31. scott brigner on December 28, 2021 at 10:29 pm

Fence is my major complaint. Small time hobbiest saw for sure. I definitely plan on upgrading when I can afford it.

  32. Lisandro L. Resto on December 28, 2021 at 10:32 pm

I’m just starting to look at woodworking and I appreciate your review.

  33. Bruce Lavarta on December 28, 2021 at 10:33 pm

Thank you for your honesty detailed review.

  34. Ben Vis on December 28, 2021 at 10:36 pm

i found one of those in the trash. i used it to bring up on roofs when i’m trimming out dormers or when my other 2 table saws are in use and we need a 3rd i’ll pull it out. Its a complete piece of crap that has saved my ass a few times.

  35. Gravity Storm on December 28, 2021 at 10:36 pm

I have that saw. Only difference is mine is Skil. Purchased in ‘88. Skil 3400
I paid $69.00 new from HD.

  36. Woodworking in wheelchair 71 on December 28, 2021 at 10:37 pm

I just bought ryobi 10 in table saw with stand for 202.00

  37. sjeverett75 on December 28, 2021 at 10:38 pm

The stand is a universal stand, not made specifically for that saw. They’ve changed models several times and then stand has stayed the same.

  38. Michael Livingston on December 28, 2021 at 10:38 pm

Use the table saw to cut a MDF table top larger than the opening of the table. Mount the newly created square top or rectangular board to give additional work space to the stand and saw. You can then bolt the saw to this board.

  39. Charlie Hazlett on December 28, 2021 at 10:40 pm

Be careful with the blade raising handle. It breaks easily and you cannot get a replacement.

  40. Paul Casiguez on December 28, 2021 at 10:40 pm

    Thanks for the time stamp.

  41. Tonya Lucas Smith on December 28, 2021 at 10:41 pm

Thank you so much for this review. After watching, I decided to go with another.

  42. foxies on December 28, 2021 at 10:42 pm

Spend an extra $20 go to Home Depot and get a Ryobi.

  43. Rebelhotdog on December 28, 2021 at 10:42 pm

Motor is powerful enough. The fence sucks have to square it on both ends on every movement. Miter gauge might as well be in the trash

  44. Austin Hooks on December 28, 2021 at 10:42 pm

Ive owned this same saw for about 4 months now and its nothing but shit. So glad I bought the 2 year warranty. I will be replacing it.

  45. Roger Kim on December 28, 2021 at 10:42 pm

I never buy anythings from harbor freight!!! Junk stote!!!!

  46. Skip Rope on December 28, 2021 at 10:44 pm

Dude give it up. It is a damn tool. A craftsman will make any tool work to their advantage. Blah blah blah. I have a 23 year old delta 10 inch that is my go to. Similar to this one you are trashing. I make precision cuts on site. Keeps me from going to the shop and using the best.
