Great video! Thanks for doing this. I have been looking at this one. How do you feel about it now after you’ve used it awhile? Also, is the fence square?
    Again, thank you!

I gotta admit I was a lot more impressed then I thought I’d be. Well done. And thanks for the setup demo Grim. I’ve been looking forward to this video.

I rotated the blade shaft and used a regular screwdriver.

Good job bro. Will you be getting the dolly?

😏😏 Yo tengo hercules table saw for a year.
Y funciona de maravilla. nada que envidiarle a las otras marcas reconocidas

Just a heads up… Don’t get in the habit of using both hands to pass the workpiece over the blade. You’re just asking for injuries. Good luck with your channel, and have fun making sawdust!

You know Ive had a contractor craftsman for 12 yrs also without a lock for the blade riser and not a problem. My dado joint stackons never vibrate it down either. I guess the problem is minimal with new mechanical technology what it is. Thanks for the video. I liked to have seen a more substantial cut to better evaluate the motor and also a rip of a wall stud, that is all. thanks again.

I bought mine 3 years ago and am going to have to replace the arbor bearings. I thought it would last a little longer myself. It’s been a great tool. No vibration at all for the first 2 years then the bearings thing.

Would like to see how to adjust the blade alignment with the miter slots

  13. David Smalley on December 30, 2022 at 2:06 am

I didn’t know tablesaws had a lock for the blade height, just the bevel.. I have a Kobalt, and it doesn’t have a lock for the height adjustment.

How do you remove the riving knife?
    Anybody???

  15. Charlie Lang on December 30, 2022 at 2:11 am

Thanks for the nice review and details. I would have like to have seen you use the fence ruler to set the width of your rip cut rather than putting a line on the piece of wood and adjusting the fence until your blade lines up with the line. It would be nice to see if the fence measurements are accurate or need adjustment. Also it would be nice to see if the fence is straight (parallel to the saw blade) perhaps by ripping a 1 or 2 foot board and then measuring the width of the cut board at the two ends.

nice detail on video thanks for the paw paw

  17. J - Who? on December 30, 2022 at 2:14 am

    Does it accept dado kit?

  18. Harold Reece on December 30, 2022 at 2:17 am

Two questions. Is the blade shaft long to accept a 3/4 inch daddo set? Will the table slots accept an after market t-square?

  19. ed theoldtechguy on December 30, 2022 at 2:17 am

Did you just say pow pow pow? 😆 LOL 😆

  20. DIY AutoBodyGuy on December 30, 2022 at 2:19 am

You made me a little nervous the first few seconds of this video lol

  21. Mar K on December 30, 2022 at 2:22 am

Wow, looks like a Dewalt from the outside but when you turn it over…you can see they have cut corners. I like the extendable part on the right and the price! That’s a winner. Wow. They don’t have these where I am or I would have given it a real consideration.

  23. The maintenance Man on December 30, 2022 at 2:26 am

Happy New Years buddy!! I enjoyed this video very much! Overall this saw would be great for apartment maintenance/remodeling. It has a place for all the pieces and you said it was pretty light weight. I dig it man. Thanks for the video 🍻🍻

  24. ed theoldtechguy on December 30, 2022 at 2:26 am

For the cost of Herc saws, they should come true 0 from the factory. It’s those small details that separate a very high-quality tool from a quality tool.

  25. David Meyer on December 30, 2022 at 2:26 am

Best video setup I have seen on this table saw. Thank you for explaining it . Great video.

nice video—can you use small dado stacks on this…????

  29. wayne wicks on December 30, 2022 at 2:32 am

It works great 👍 I know people who have the Hercules and love it

  30. Gregg Hernandez on December 30, 2022 at 2:37 am

Great video. I may have to get one of these as a backup. They seem to be well built. I have a Ridgid which serves me well. I never depend on the wheel to make sure my blade is straight. You can pick up a digital angle finder now for about 20 bucks. Well worth the investment.

Great video!! Does the anti kickback bar leave marks on wood when using the saw? I’m speaking of like a softer would like pine
