I have power tools but I would rather work with hand tools. I love toe feel the steal moving through the grain of the wood and hear the sound of it rather than having to put on hearing protection to cut a peace of wood.
I had that same shirt! Wore it to death😂
Yep, raised on power tools and now at age 60 I gave up the dust and the noise started buying planes 👍

I really do enjoy all your videos explaining how hand tools works. It feels like a lost art.
Someone who has been raised on power tools, where do you find all the info for hand tools?
My journey in only using hand tools started as a constraint: there’s no power in my garage. Embracing it and learning the skill is very rewarding. If there’s power in my next workspace, I probably won’t use it for anything other than lighting or vacuuming.
Cool shirt man
Lol, "The Devil’s Electron"
Ya got started with a small piece of wood scrap lol
Try moving to a small house/flat at the top of a close/tenement then every day you need cary everything down then do the job then cary them back up again. You would go work in an office if that was your day
❤❤❤
I actually started with steel. And to this day i love the beautiful sighto of a glowing red, molten puddle of steel under my oxy-acetylene torch…
But a few years ago i decided to give a shot to spoons. And i knew my grandpa had a wood workshop… So now i’m making spoons, cups and other stuff out of the wood, just as a hobby 🙂
I will also mention your baldness is grater than mine but am only 43 so am thinking life must be stressful over there
