Great video and awesome to see the behind the scenes of a youtube channel, not too many out there willing to show what it all takes and what the rewards are.

  4. Chris Franklyn on June 17, 2023 at 1:21 pm

I appreciate the honest breakdown. Thanks for that. I’m hoping to start making sales in 2022, both of guitars and things to sell at craft fairs/etsy. Good luck in your new year!

I have a question, have you ever had an accident with any equipment before and did it cause you to have time off? Lisa x

  7. Matt Bibeault on June 17, 2023 at 1:31 pm

Importantly, your YouTube and affiliate income will rise every year with the same effort because your subs will increase and people will continue to watch older videos as well as new ones. Particularly when you link content from older videos in the new ones. Subbed today. Good luck to you.

Thanks for your honesty. So many consider starting a Ytube channel, yet we’re in the dark about the real revenue potential

  15. Weebows on June 17, 2023 at 1:59 pm

Yours is the first in-depth video l’ve seen to openly discuss in full making money on YouTube. Thank you for all the great information not only did you bring excitement to the journey but also you were honest in that it takes hard work to be successful. I raised my children with the idea to find their passion then learn how to make money doing what you love as it provides a much happier life. Keep up the great job as it’s obvious you found your passion. Please share again in coming years you may just help more find their way to happiness.

The taxes. Yes. Something I havnt found other channels who disclose income really talk about. Also, your affiliate link for the editing software is not working 🙂 Good luck for continued growth in 2022!!!!

  27. LisaJ Hay on June 17, 2023 at 2:09 pm

Well done. I am 51 and spent years watching my Dad make everything and anything in his little shed with his electric saw and vice in the 70’s and 80’s and everything about what I love is after my Dad who is now 84 and still does all his own things and building and just built his new garden shed and also all his own gardening etc! I grew up being creative is all things home from crochet to sewing and making things crafty and made Xmas gifts and decorations like wreaths etc. but not much woodwork and more building but at 51 I just did my very first flat pack chest of drawers and wow it was a nightmare but I got there with dodgy tools and hours of trying to figure out the instructions, or as I call them – destructions haha! I have my Dads creative streak AND his green fingers as I also love gardening! Love your channel really interesting and I now am a new subscriber! Ty xx
