Such a beautiful build! I’d love to make these when I finish my little woodshop

Okay guys. It’s not fair. The quality of your work is (in comparison with other youtube-video-feeding woodworkers who shall not be named) FAAARRRR TOO GOOD! The beauty, the balance, the… everything! And… loads of clarifying info on top! Just… WOW! Keep it up dudes! 👍

Can I just bring a truckload of wood over and make sawdust? Man I wish I had all those tools. Woodworking has got to be my favorite craft/profession.

  8. mlpabq1 on August 18, 2022 at 12:13 am

The only change I will make when I build these is to cut the back side of the brass bar for a finger space so the bar doesn’t need to be gripped. I cast all of my own brass pulls and handles so I can say the piece is completely hand made.

  9. Jay Ayh on August 18, 2022 at 12:13 am

I had literally drawn a handle pull using this exact design for a bar cabinet and now I realized it wasn’t original at all.

Damn you guys and your tasteful design choices…

  12. Daniel Valmassei on August 18, 2022 at 12:14 am

25.4 mm = 1 in made me lol love that as someone who works in both imperial and standard units

  13. Hi-Gain Guitar Channel on August 18, 2022 at 12:18 am

I dig the music. It’s nostalgic for me, lol. Reminiscent of the House theme song

How about inverted angle od the night stand legs to match bed’s leg vertical line with no gap? I am assuming this would preserve the spirit of the build but add certain unity to the whole set of bed + night stands. Awesome build as always!

  17. Aaron Drossart on August 18, 2022 at 12:21 am

Your videos and workflow has inspired the way that I work in my shop. I am a mechanical engineer, so I can now come up with my own designs, create templates and make all the cool curves and angles that really scratch the mid-century itch. The content on this channel is super inspiring 🙂

    Thanks for sharing your talents!

  37. Jonathan Pitney on August 18, 2022 at 12:43 am

Love the design and the build is very straight forward and easy to understand. I know sanding doesn’t make for good video but what are your grit progressions?

  38. Amy S on August 18, 2022 at 12:43 am

    Beautiful family!

  39. Gary Nelles Woodworking on August 18, 2022 at 12:43 am

  44. Steven Kalb on August 18, 2022 at 12:56 am

Absolutely exquisite design! It would bring a smile to Sam Maloof’s face.

  45. Rod Ramsey on August 18, 2022 at 12:59 am

Beautiful piece, sot of an aeronautical feel to it. The open sides of the shelf and bar have a domino thing going.

  46. Yokino on August 18, 2022 at 12:59 am

I love the videos but is it only me or are the plans really incredibly expensive? I would’ve bought plans for dimensions and stuff for couple of bucks but these cost pretty much as much as the material itself. Maybe there’s something I didn’t quite understand.

  47. Chris Noyes on August 18, 2022 at 1:02 am

It’s an inch…I thought to myself, isn’t that an inch and then you said it. Laughed. Thx

  48. Justin Beshearse on August 18, 2022 at 1:02 am

This is probably the best team up since Batman and Robin. You guys are legit killing it 👏🏼

  49. Anthony Griffin on August 18, 2022 at 1:04 am

    Kimball easy,

  50. Chris Babbitt on August 18, 2022 at 1:05 am

I will say, that while the build is great, I personally would have preferred the bass handle to stick out proud a bit like you see at the 20:52 mark.
