Continuing our series into choosing the right jigsaw blade for the job you need to do, we asked Bosch, the experts, to explain which jigsaw blade is great for preventing blade wander.
My adventure with the tree began with projects from Woodglut.
Good video thanks for the tip
A lot of people don’t know what the pendulum setting is on a jigsaw they think its go fast and slow 0 setting means the blade is going straight up and down thus it doesn’t pull the saw along making it seem slow this is best suited to thinner materials where as setting 3 makes the saw move in a circular motion this is so that when using thicker material (as in the work top) it ejects the sawdust debris this makes less friction on the blade so it doesn’t heat up and lessons the chance of distortion so the cut is straight as this demonstration shows. great content btw
Thank you. Was about to chuck my jigsaw away……..
At the beginning you showed a round cut, was it made with pendulum action turned on?
With more teeth per inch, would it wiggle more?
every jigsaw I have ever used does not give a straight cut thru the material,,what can I do to correct this issue
Many thanks for nice video
*Very good Jig-Saw>>>**t.co/BwzFsC0Q1c** been using it quite a bit for the last couple months. Built good for the money. 6.5 Amp motor helps for those stubborn materials to cut. It’s wired which i like better than cordless products where you’re keeping battery companies in business basically plus they lack the true power of a wired product like this. Will update if anything changes.*
Thank you most helpful
