Cutting anything over 45 degrees on a miter saw is challenging at first glace. But, with this trick, you can cut 60 degree angles as well as many other angles over 45 degrees!

This is a great trick for crown molding, quarter round, trim, finish carpentry, and any other spots you are using a miter saw but struggle to cut the angle you need.

Getting a 30 degree block allows you to then add 30 degrees onto any cut. For 60, it’s simply 30 plus 30. Need a 50 degree angle? 30 plus 20. 70 degrees = 30 + 40. You get the idea!

If you are in the UK, it’s mitre saw.

This shouldnt be on youtube not only for safety reasons but also for what kind of results you would get using this…I tried this and its very very dangerous using that size of a"jig" and the cuts are so crooked as you cant control the slide of the piece and the jig…I would expect more awarness before posting smth like this…absolutly not
