Thank you! I’m trying to cut smaller, narrower notches for interlocking pieces, so just do the two sides and the base with a chisel. Struggling to get them perfectly straight though! Any tips apart from practise? Straight edge perhaps?
Thank you! I needed this!
How do you cut a 2×4 straight? I tried twice already and it’s not straight. New to using a jigsaw. Is it just practice?
Great skill building videos, thanks!
Great channel. Thanks.
Thanks for what you’re doing man. I appreciate you!
👏👏👏👏👏👌
Great Video! Glad I found you. ok, used my Jigsaw today with a little more confidence. Nothing special. making a woodshed. lol maybe I’ll be a pro by the time hit 70. Great teacher! Thank again. Love the Finger trick , now I can make straight lines. Blessings
Nice, thanks.
I would use the speed square as a guide for short cuts and maybe a straight edge for longer cuts.
That’s a good thumb
THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIDEOS AWESOME !!!!!!!
I can’t stop watching your videos!!! I’m hooked binge-watching since early this morning, LOL!
Your vieos are literally the best thanks so much! This was so helpful and useful
Very educational
Anyone know what happened to scrolling jigsaws? They have just quietly disappeared from store shelves everywhere. The only place
to buy one now is used i.e. ebay etc.
I’m new to tools and just bought a Bosch jigsaw for my furniture projects. This was very helpful and informative!
hi i like your videos but ive never seen you recommend a certain type of brand ? any suggestions? and would the lowest tier work or should i invest in something more expensive?
Great training video
Respected Sir,
A question,instead of our left hand thumb,can we use a scale ?
So you do the same if you cut out a square inside the wood panel…I drill a hole at each corner, just a bit away from the edge so I can lead up into the corner…and can turn the saw. How do you do it? Also, I have a problem with using a fence…to keep the line straight, my blade still wants to turn away from the line to turn to the fence…so it does not cut a straight line..what did I do wrong? I tried the silly blade adjuster at that back of the Dewalt jig saw, but that just put a slant on the blade for working forward angle etc…? What is that for??Thank you!

Great video with good content and no bullshit showmanship, thank you very much!
I love the clear advice you give in your videos. Succinct, and to the point, and clear for beginners – thank you!
Very nice!
Great idea for practice!
Haha! Nibbling away… ahhhh that’s where I go wrong- calm and patience!
You’ve inspired me to give my jigsaw another invite to the party.
Great tool teaching videos! Concise and on point. Really helped me get started with my first project that required using various power tools.
I noticed that the tear-out on the wood was on the bottom not the top, did you use a cut down stroke on blades? I’m trying to cut the horns on fingered pine as well as MDF for interior 11/16" thick window sills (stoop) and I screwed up several. Some where the blade deflected or a wavier in the cut line. Very little surface to rest the shoe on. I’m beginner DIY fixing up my house. Any help would be great. Thanks
