Good idea using the aluminum angle material to keep the fence straight. The T-track helps as well. Well illustrated without unnecessary detail. Good job.
What size screw did you use to fasten the t track to the fence?
Hardwood is probably not the best option for this, but it is a nice build. It is a thin board at least so that is good to help reduce shrinkage or expansion depending on the moisture changes. A board twice as wide expands twice as much i.e.
