Noooooooooooo. When you said pocket holes my heart broke.
Who’s the dude without the beard? Great video!
who was that baby-faced dude doing the ad roll for David?
Dead Or Alive on the TV in the background. You Spin Me Right Round Baby
Sir what is the software you use to show drawer out coming animation?
Belo trabalho e explicação…eu agradeço muito sua ajuda.
Parabéns…continue sempre.👍👍
Nice work Dave!
Love shaker furniture.
Should shaker stuff more often!
Your idea of a personal journey for woodworking actually works for just about everything. I find a base recipe to use for cooking. I find a few others for flavor and enhancements. Then I personalize it to my liking. Add stuff, remove stuff, change quantities, etc
Also you rock your beard. Seeing you without one just seems strange to me. Haha
Dave great project, plans purchased 😉
Great table! Still looking forward to the MakeMusic album!
Just a poor knob! Time for you to make some resin knobs (fancy / basic / small / long / colorful / classic / on the lathe / with silicon molds / you name it). Great channel, thanks for sharing your knowledge
When you come for the woodworking, but end up watching the obscure 80’s music videos in the background. 🤘
What CAD program is that?
Dude, you are definitely not a Shaker. You’re a Mover!
Diggin’ the Tears for Fears in the background. Songs from the Big Chair came out 37 years ago today!!
Wow, that was a lot of time between the ad break and the final assembly
I prefer to taper on the jointer but great project!
My main question when I saw this project was, how do I cut the tapered legs? That trick you showed is great! I don’t have a tapering jig. Thanks David.
Hey David, quick question.. At the beginning of the video :14 when you cross cut the huge board on the table saw with the mitre gauge, How come you didn’t flip the board around and cut it being supported along the whole mitre gauge and have the off cut on table saw fence side of the blade?
Made a few plant stands that are nearly identical in design to this. I used pocket holes for the first one but switched to mortise and tenon for the last two. The screws started cracking the legs and I wasn’t happy with alignment, the screws still caused some shifting. The mortise are tenons really didn’t take that much extra time.
Where’d the beard go?!?!?!
Your little brother did a great job with Square Space ad!
“If you don’t have a podcast, are you even a woodworker?” 🤣
Why was this filmed over such a long period of time, that beard gave it away
Catching the dowel. Drops dowel on floor three times. Catches fourth dowel. Throws it on the floor. 😂🤣
Not only was this an awesome video… you transformed!
Did not expect to see you without your beard and then back again.
That was fun.
Tears for Fears ftw!
Shakers ……smakers! Build like you want to build!! Nice!! DD
"turn a knob" – "drill pretty deep". Dave, working kinda blue for this episode.
Kidding aside…. LOVE THE DESIGN, gonna build 2 for night stands.
Hey Dave, don’t feel bad I got that same snow that you did just a bit sooner. See I live 3 miles from the Indiana Michigan line west of you. Stay making something your friend Shoey.
You should wear orange more. Orange is the new black. 👌
It’s very odd when you switch from beard to no-beard for the sponsor, back to beard, then back to no-beard for the end of the video! 🤣
thnx this clarifies a few things
Respect the dowel…
Great video! You inspired me to start my channel!
Love the bead detail. Laughed out loud at you not being a shaker!
I am not sure it thje Shakers had tablesaws let alone SawStops. What is more important here is that this is a Shaker STYLE table. Oh, I see you shaved.
2:50 Tears for Fears “Shout” aye!!!!! 🔥🔥🔥🔥
8:45 something seemes different…
My man looks like a McDonald’s fry with ketchup on top 😂
No one is talking about his clean shaved face at the end?!?!?!? Is this the multiverse?!!
The flow of this video is the shiz! Also, when you made the slow-mo saw dust shots, were you trolling @jimmydiresta for his "love" of vimeo?
Great video once again! It’s a neat idea to intergrate your short into the video, first time I’ve seen it done! 👍
Don’t have a jointer and a planer, sigh
This is great, can we get the plan?
Awesome work David! 😃👍🏻👊🏻
Hahaha, if you don’t have a podcast, are you even a woodworker? Lololol. I just laughed my a$$ off!! Thanks for that, and another great video David..
Looks fun and quick to build .
Cool use of acrylic for a little secret accent.
Genius idea using double stick tape on some plywood for a tapering jig.
