Me at 3:16 "Perfect! I need a table, I have simple tools and not a lot of experience!"
how fun. thanks for sharing this. new to your channel. Can’t wait to see more videos
I’ve got more tools than this requires but im way too lazy to even try. Very nice video though!
Hey just wanted to mention that you may want to check out glue called 2p10. It is great.
I donβt know how I missed this video a year ago. Just came across it. I love this simple little table. Iβm totally making one! Andβ¦ Iβm totally laughing out loud about your dogs butt highlight. LOL

"Im going to use nothing but a driver and circular saw."…. Pulls out different types and sizes of clamps, drill, drill bits, mallet, flush cut saw, speed square…..
This is a really cool table. Love how it turned out, but those big box store pre-milled lumber prices are kind of scary.
Gorgeous colors, nice work. How did you prevent squeeze out on the top surface when gluing together the pre-stained pieces? I’m concerned that I will get squeeze out, and even if I’m quick and wipe away the glue, I fear it will leave a thin residual mess that needs sanding. If I have to sand the pre-stained pieces wouldn’t that erode the consistency of the brilliant colors? All suggestions appreciated.
it reminds me of idkhow’s razzmatazz album!
Nice table, Dave.
Nice work!
Thank you for this!
This is great! Will definitely be making this once I move into y new place! Thanks for sharing!
Nice!!! ππΌπ¨π·
You just painted the german flag colors on that thing
The charcoal looks nice and is safer then shou sugi ban.
Nicely done!
Those lights were a nice touch!!
That is a one of a kind table! Where can you get one of those Make Something glue bottles, another one of a kind!

Hey. Great looking table and great to see a project that doesn’t require every tool under the sun.
Question though. In a few of the shots the table looks to rock a bit as if it isn’t level, the exact same problem I have had when building with simple tools. Just wondering if you can share your finishing technique that sures up the evenness of the legs?
Edit: And I found your technique in the comments at the bottom. Cheers
What was the approximate cost for the build? I know Minwax paid for it but what was cost.
Genius tip clamping the speed square on the piece to keep it from moving on smaller items.
Dogs are the best.
9:05 "You can never have enough woodworkers telling you, you can never have enough clamps"
This looks like the perfect table for under my coat hanger to put helmets and stuff. One question: what does the Poly do? I feel like I should know, but I don’t π Thanks for the video, I do appreciate this "beginner" type of stuff. Helps to get me going.
I feel like I need wiener dog lights…and I donβt even own a wiener dog.
Beautiful table, love the color combinations. How many coats of stain did you end up applying?
I like how you kept the design simple enough to two basic power tools and then made it fancy with different color stains
After you have a few more videos of two power tool projects, you should make a playlist
Wowowow I love it ! Next video do some kinda smart desk
Some Keda dye would be good for such a small area of stain.
Help Please!! I really want to try this project but I have tried everywhere to get the pre stain conditioner and its like rocking horse shit, same for the Charred Black and the semi transparent is just as hard to find (tried every Lowes in 100mile radius – nothing! I did find the Pre Stain if you order through Walmart but they wanted $56 for the same tin!! Any suggestions how to find some?
What a great video. Excellent narration throughout, great capture and explanation of techniques, very simple but expertly executed. Also the top (and bottom) look great too.
tell me im not the only person that thinks he’s the woodworking version of Joe pantoliano
I’m new to watching your videos. Maybe you have covered this already. I am wanting to know what state you are in because you said on your podcast that you had a show in Cleveland. And you have on a ohio hat in the video.
What a beautiful table, I love it!
Great video like always
Beautiful job! It did appear that your table was not level, did you correct that? π
I love this project a lot. Great job Dave.
I know this was from almost a couple of years ago, but I want to start woodworking and watching tons of videos to learn! This table is beautiful and I appreciate the fact that you offer the tools and supplies used without charing us for them! I think this will be my first project! π
Thanks for actually putting together videos that are for beginners. My modest equipment salutes you!

I have been behind on the videos. I freaking love this!!!!
Hi Dave, another great video! The table looks bitchin for sure. Hey, what specifically are the long blue clamps you use? I’m in need and I like that style. Thanks, Tim
Well done. Excellent video. Simple and well explained.
@8:49 I spy a shiny red cart frame. Looking forward to seeing the cart completed and on the track.
You do Great work !!!! Good Times !!!
Did you just glue the pieces that make up the top or did you also use dowels to join them together?
