How to make A Workbench | DIY WOODWORKING

How to make A Workbench | DIY WOODWORKING

In this video, I will be making a multipurpose workbench from 2 by 4 and plywood.

All my woodworking plans https://gumroad.com/diycreators

Building this workbench has really changed the work I work in my shop. I keep two toolboxes underneath for my most used tools. Being able to hang drills and measuring tapes on the side is very handy. My favorite part is being able to store tools I want in the shop, but do not want to build a workbench for. The T-Track on the side works great for holding materials. This workbench is made from 3/4in plywood and 2by4. Get the plans here https://gum.co/gfKwe

Great job. Made it look easy enough that I’m going to try to replicate it. If you can tell me the measurements of the table and 2×4’s used. I’m completely new at this.

  19. Elly Montgomery on February 9, 2022 at 10:40 pm

This workbench is a great concept! I’m brand new to woodworking, I have a tiny garage & a dedicated workbench space is tough. I like the castors to be able to roll it out on the driveway & the tool storage bin is cool to stash tools used in a project..if you’re like me, I’m always looking for my jigsaw, my pencil, my tape measure, etc. lol.
Thanks for the plans I can’t wait to build it!

  20. Daniel Bradford on February 9, 2022 at 10:44 pm

  27. mygiboxatgmail on February 9, 2022 at 10:50 pm

I’ve seen a couple of vids but yours has to be the best when it comes to explanation and self design, second vid I see from you and it was just as satisfying as the first one. Got yourself a new subscriber…

  28. Ryan Lamp on February 9, 2022 at 10:50 pm

Maybe it’s because I still need to build a nice work bench for my shop, or maybe it’s because this sort of thing interests me, but I find watching these work bench construction videos oddly satisfying. Kudos on this one, my friend. Well done! Love the contrasting pain on it as well. I may makes me want to paint mine when I get around to building it, although I think I might go with a dark tool gray.

great, new sub here thank you

  35. Evan Julber on February 9, 2022 at 11:01 pm

I suggest using a good quality white melamine sheet for the top. It’s easy to clean and glue drips easily scrape off with a putty knife. When one side gets buggered up over time, just flip it over for a new surface.

Building this workbench has really changed the work I work in my shop. It’s simple, but really makes an impact. I have plans if you would like to build to the spec I have. https://gumroad.com/diycreators Thanks for tuning in!

  46. jim carson on February 9, 2022 at 11:11 pm

The best workbench is one that at midnight the top will lift to 90 degrees and dump everything on the floor, that way when you get up in the morning you have a clean work station.

  47. Scott M on February 9, 2022 at 11:11 pm

    Very clever and great craftsmanship.
