Woodglut scripts contain most of the woodworking plans you can find.

This is absolutely brilliant! what a fantastic video. It’s so easy to whine and complain about how rough life is and how prices are going through the roof blah blah blah. I choose to focus on the fact that I live in a day and age where I can learn a fantastic tip that will instantly improve my life from a video posted on the internet by a guy in Finland. Fuck yeah baby! thank you for this information my friend.

Was it just trial and error to get the shim stock the correct thickness? and what offset shim used for the 2nd half of each corner?

  8. Buddy Love on October 6, 2022 at 2:44 am

so basically he’s just using spacers against the fencefor each cut?

  9. Probably Rudy on October 6, 2022 at 2:48 am

    This is so cool

  10. Carlos Reira on October 6, 2022 at 2:49 am

Ok, smart. The shims need to be precise, but that can be verified with calipers. The routing method seems to work well here even with rather big cuts on thicker stock, but he’s using spruce. It’s Finland! I imagine Norway Spruce (picea abies) everywhere. Thanks for the video. I hate making jigs.

  28. Mitchel T on October 6, 2022 at 3:10 am

Nice, but he got perfect joints because he started with the perfect size wood width, otherwise you always end up with at least one small joint. You could almost say "cheating".

  29. Ujjal Ghosh on October 6, 2022 at 3:10 am

what will be the width of the spacer block?

  30. Allyn McFarlin on October 6, 2022 at 3:11 am

    Good job

  33. oldbloke135 on October 6, 2022 at 3:12 am

People going on about him using the expensive planers are missing the point. Just buy the wood planed and buy a router bit that is half the size of it. It was worth watching the video just to see the use of that pushing tool!

  41. ligidk on October 6, 2022 at 3:22 am

Those fingers won’t last long that close to the table saw blade.

  42. Larry Studer on October 6, 2022 at 3:24 am

I love that crosscut fixture you use.
