How To Make Geometric Wood Wall Art | Easy Woodworking Projects

How To Make Geometric Wood Wall Art | Easy Woodworking Projects

Ever wondered how to make geometric wood wall art? I’ll show you step by step in this video so you can get out there and craft an easy woodworking project for yourself. These work perfect for DIY mothers day gifts, housewarming, or just general all around gifts and woodworking projects.

Up to this point I had yet to make a video of a project using stock lumber readily available from your local Big Box store and these seemed like the prime opportunity. For less than $30 in materials (nails, staples, paint/stain, tools not included) you can build a very eye catching and modern set of wall art for you, your family, or friends.

Happy building!

Sorry, was busier earlier, but yep, I think Woody is still giving away his woodworking book, but I’m not so sure. I managed to get it go’ogling Woody Hyezmar, and was surprised to see his "Woodworking Bible" up for grabs, hope this helps.

Your significant other did not have the reaction I would expect from all that work :(. Oh well, great work on the project, if you didn’t have the brad nailer how do you think you would have fastened the pieces together?

Ugh I messed up! This was my first attempt at putting a custom end screen on my video and I started it WAY too early. Apologies for the odd blooper ending 😬

Your wife with the paper towel holder sounds familiar!

Me to my husband: “I bought a really nice 12 gauge drop cord for when we use the table saw outside.”

Husband: *as I’m telling him about this new cord for the table saw and I know he’s not listening to me, because …* He picks up the brand new cord, looks at the female end for a split second, whips out a pocket knife, slices half of the end off, walks over to the electric leaf blower, plugs the cord in to the leaf blower, and says overtop of me telling him what I bought the cord for “It’s too big – but now it fits.”

Me: 🤦‍♀️ “What are you doing?!? I just said that was for the table saw! I was saying as you were whipping out your knife! Why did you just ruin that cord? I just bought it … 10 minutes ago, and you ruined it before it was even unrolled?!?!?

My husband: “Oh. I thought it was for the leaf blower”, as he walks away.

    Me: 😡🙄🤷‍♀️

Lesson learned by Me: Before you hand him anything, tell him what it’s for, hand him a 10-question Pop Quiz, make sure he answers all 10 questions correctly … and then it might be safe to hand him something 🤣🤣
