Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh my God !!!!!!! 59 and could only use whole numbers and halves on a ruler. I felt I must have dyslexia but 5 min. I got every problem right. Oh my GOD, had such a fear of measuring. Want to do some home projects. I am FREE!!!! Thank you, glad to see others on here with same problem.
Thank you so much for this video
The Best Video EVER!
Thank you Bob. I don’t remember it being this easy in school. I appreciate you teaching an old new tricks
This video is so helpful! Saving for future reference. Thank you!
why make things sooo complicated! all hail the metric system. I get absoloutely no intuitive understanding of how much 5/8th of an inch is!! what is 5 divided by 8, hmm lets see 50 divided by 8 would be something like 6.35… so .635 of an inch?!! WTF! how am I supposed to do any actual work if I have to do all these crazy calculations in my head
Thank you so much sir…helps me alot
Hands down BEST explanation!!!
Love u
In order to work with Dad I need to memorize a inch and explain in my own words this is very helpful
That’s why you want to learn metric kids π
thanks bud
thank you π
I always hated working with inches and the imperial system, but learning it is a necessary evil in my industry as it’s dominated by American companies and their standards.
At least this helps make the process easier, thank you!
This is the best explanation I’ve seen since grade school. I went all thru school not knowing this. Thank you
How have I managed to go 54 years without knowing this??? AND I’m quite an educated person. AND I construct handbags. Well, to be sure, I have always known how that inch was divided up, but never knew what the various units of measure were called. And don’t even get me started on millimeters and centimeters. None of this is my fault. The fault lies entirely with the totally hot guy who sat across the room from me in my math class in high school π€£. No wait- this would’ve been before high school. π€. This IS entirely my fault. π³
Well thanks for the very nicely done video!!
What does ‘machinist rules’ mean? I have a very poor vocabulary.
Thanks for the vid, I get it. What I didn’t get is why this is harder than metric system?
I am now confident the imperial system is inferior and should be banned
Thanks you make it easy for me π·
Watching this in the privacy of my room @ 27yo tehe
Great thanks
switch to millimeters like the rest of the world. its million times easier
I got a pop quiz tomorrow and this helped me with my studies. Thanks a bunch!
