Hi, handsome! I’m going to pick a jigsaw for cutting my van wall to install a window, so you have any suggestion for picking a special type of saw blade? (^-^) Thank you very much!!!
God bless you. Great teacher, friend, dad, neighbor, brother. Thanks so much.
5:17 the hesitation hahah sketchy to say the least – we’ve all had that "close call" moment

Great Video, i am a first timer Jigsaw user, feeling like a pro ..
How do you combat the walk off of the blade on the kerf?
Perfect and to the point. no,trying to be clever with music or acting all dramatic like they are on tv. thanks SOO much for this.
I have destroyed some jigsaws from doing plunge cuts. They are not all designed to be able to do them. Always check your user manual or consult with the manufacturer’s specifications to see if that model is okay to do plunge cuts.
On some makes and models, doing plunge cuts will create additional force on the mechanical components that generate the reciprocating motion of the blade and they will break. So I rarely recommend or show anyone how to do plunge cuts on the jig saw anymore. I do plunge cuts exclusively with a circular saw.
Man, your delivery is very good! concise & effective! You are an excellent trainer! 👍
kudos!!! beautiful teaching. more grace sir
Great video. I plan to use Jigsaw to cut vinyl or laminate planks? Is it a good idea? I need advice on how to hold the plank while cutting?
Thank You, I don’t R T I M D ( READ THE INSTRUCTION MANUAL DUMMY ) So this was great !
Thank you it helps me very much !!!
Thank you very much
Amazing explanation
Helping me to decide whether to buy a jigsaw.
The one fault I found when using a Jigsaw, is that doesn’t cut vertically, and you end up with a cut that requires additional correction. This is when you cut heavy material, not 1/2" plywood, an I do have a good tool, not a cheep Chinese piece
absolutely beautiful tool!
@ 1:04 what are the T-Shank blades for?
GREAT FREAKING VIDEO!!! THANK YOU
Thanks for the knowledge you share.
What is the exact model of this Bosh Jigsaw
Thanks for the tip, man.
This is very good video: clear, simple, and concise, exactly what I needed to get started quickly. thanks!
Good video – thank you!
We can not see your machine how to use it. only we see in front of Cc caption that hide all machine activities
A great video! I’m just upgrading my arsenal of tools to this Bosch jigsaw you’re showing here. For the money I only spent on my old one, I can say it’s earned it’s retirement.
Thanks, but you didn’t explain why you need a jigsaw that uses T-shank blades, or what they are. I’d better have a look at the one I bought!
Thank you so much for this video. I looked up what is the best saw for beginners and then looked up how to use it and ran into your video. Amazing detail! I will take your advice when purchasing one. I subscribed as well I’m sure I can learn a lot of good tips for future use.
Your missing to functions on the jigsaw. #1 red button with arrows and blade and black switch that goes from 0 to 1 with a blowing print. What are those for?
Great video. I have a question, though. I have a top-end Porter-Cable saw and use Bosch blades exclusively. However, no matter what I do (new blades, checking the saw table for zero tilt, adjusting for UFO intervention, prayer, etc) I cannot get a clean verticle cut from one end of a pass to the other. The blade always drifts out of plumb. Suggestions?
My favourite power tool! Great information if you are a novice or experienced woodworker!
What is difference between costly and cheaper jigsaw? May be good brand.
Thank you!! Very informative 😊💯
I like your style. You’re straightforward and smart. I understand so much already. Someone gave me a jigsaw and I’m dying to use it. Thanks!
Good stuff!
very informative video!
What a brilliant video. Easy to follow and understand. Some vids leave me more confused, than before I watched it. Kind Regards
Excellent video man ! Keep it up … short.. interesting… talks about everything a new jigsaw user needs to know … amazing !! Keep it up ..
Lowkey really nervous we need to make our cutouts with the jigsaw today for my theater and media class for a grade 😞
SUCH A GREAT VIDEO to learn about Jigsaw! thank you! Best video on Youtube on getting started with Jigsaw! Subscribing!
I would recommend the barrel grip over the top handle . Much better feel to it ,
plus you could get around using the down stroke blades when cutting on a top surface
you don’t want to splinter. For example if you have to cut a plastic laminate counter top
sink out or end of it off , you simple make a through hole then go on the bottom of the
counter top , stick the blade through , so you are cutting upside down from the bottom of the counter top. You will get the splintering on the bottom of the counter top. Plus you will see the blade very easily. Takes a little getting used to , but works perfectly. Hope i was of help . Great video btw.
Wow! Finally a simple explanation of tools; very useful.
Very Good knowledge sharing. Thanks a lot👏🏻
