Really excellent tips, Tomasz! Thanks! πŸ˜ƒ
I bought a 12" thicknesser and planer, but I’m still a bit scared to use it. πŸ˜‚
I’m going to look for someone around who could help me with it.
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! πŸ––πŸ˜Š

Hi Tomasz, Helpful introduction. I like your suggestion to retract the guard a bit so you can move the push blocks evenly across the cutters. I find it quite awkward doing this with guards across the whole width of the blade so you need to lift the leading block over the guard at the start of the cut. Looking at your ruler at the begging it looks as if your infeed table is sloping slightly down at the end furthest from the cutters. Does this matter? I hope the gas keeps coming! Mike
