The Dremel MS400 Jigsaw attachment is a great addition to your rotary tool accessory collection. Watch how we show the basic functions and how to use this wonderful tool.
Looks crap… I think Dremel missed a trick by way of not making it compatible with earlier models like mine (395) etc. If they are going to make accessories available for only later models they are losing out on custom, plus I think a mitre saw would be easier and quicker (and probably cheaper) to achieve wood cutting tasks…
P.S. your clamps are not stable enough… lol… ๐๐๐
had a problem with accessory nut the thread was too small and did nit fit my dremel but worked on the snake cable
Gotta be honest, that tool is already a piece of crap but the way you try to use it just made it that much worse.. thumbs down total fail, go to your room and think about what you did ๐ญ
Too awkward, complicated.
That does not look like it’s working very well.
Dremel makes wonderful toys. As a teen in the 80s I built r/c airplane made out of balsa wood. Now they amaze me with new tools they have come up with. Iam thinking of getting back into model airplanes.
3 / 10 for me
Dremel MS400 is sold out because of it’s performance as you see. Dremels have no enough torque to cut. So they have failed at this attachment. That’s why you guys cannot find that anywhere.
*We had originally tried the cordless version of this Jig Saw>>>**t.co/BwzFsC0Q1c** ย and decided that we loved it. However since we would normally use this where plugs could be found easily we opted for the corded version and am glad we did so because it definitely has more power to it and you don’t have to worry about the battery. We tried one other cheaper brand and it just didn’t do the job like this one.*
I like the demonstrations
unbelivabely Stupid degsin !
Yikes, not the tool fore me.
This attachment was never meant to cut through wood like that. It’s meant for small hobby stuff and drywall.
I am so glad I found your video. I have had this dam tool for so many years & never knew how to use it . I don’t even if I can find the little thing that goes in the end before attaching it. but Find it I will. when I bought the jigsaw I was in my 50eds now I am 70 , maybe I can use it now. it was on sale I do know it was less than $10.00 , on a table outside the store.I think now it was a good deal. thank you for showing me how to use it.
Can’t find this anywhere…
Dremel could lose their buisness with this. It should never have been sold.
I have had it a long time never new how to hook it up.. Thanks for showing me how. Also you said not to use on hard wood how about a gourd? thanks for the info..
It did not seem to cut at all. Seems like a waste of money.
Will not be looking for it.
Thanks for making the video! I decided to break mine out and couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working…. I didn’t have that dohickey that accepts a square shaft. Now….as to where that little sucker has up and run off to….? I’m gonna set a timer for 5 minutes and if I find it before the buzzer goes off…yeah. If not, then I’ll add it to the drawer of stuff that is missing required parts. Lol.
One of the things I liked about this is that you can put the blade on with the teeth facing in either direction. Apparently that was useful to me last time I used it, because I had a hand written note taped to it stating this. I can’t remember what I was making though. ๐ค thanks again for the handy video.
The design needs to be modified to have the ability to connect to the end of the Dremel Flex Shaft. This way will give it much better handling characteristics.
Thanks for the video – was given a MS400 w no instructions on how to put it together with a Dremel400. Got it done – Thanks.
Would this attachment be able to accept a file ? I’m thinking it might work better as a die sander than a saw
๐๐๐๐๐
Good Morning. Thank you ๐
Can these be bought in U.K. ?
I’ll use my regular zigsawย after seeing that performance.
Sir, I feel the tool should have been held perpendicular to the table for cutting, rather than at an angle. Can you try that out and let us know . Thanks.
A stay away tool in my opinion. Damn, I’ve never seen something cut that horrible.
Doesn’t look like it cuts very well. Flimsy.
Won’t be buying this.
