    At the risk of being rude, I think anyone who is interested in a CAD program and is using Youtube to learn how probably knows how to download and install a program.

    I checked a lot of handbooks with woodworking plans. Instructions from woodprix are the best I think.

    Social Wood Works. I’m thankful I stumbled onto your page. I subscribe to Jay Bates’s YouTube page who uses Sketch up as well. I’ve considered getting Sketch up myself but either didn’t listen hear or realize it was free (personal projects) to use. I appreciate folks like Jay Bates and yourself who "Give Back" so to speak to those who would like to learn new things. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to learning new tips and techniques to better my wood working hobby. Thanks again.

    Sometimes its NOT about "knowing how to download and install", but how to do it CORRECTLY! As a former IT manager, I still watch many "introductory" or basic videos because I don’t know everything. Frequently I wade through many minutes of "newby" stuff, yada, yada, yada… But, out of the blue and without fanfare, they mention some obscure or undocumented setting or configuration that can make ALL the difference in how a program performs. Don’t be so quick to assume "I know this stuff already" and skip past the basics, because if you get THAT wrong… everything else may be a total waste of your time and efforts. Poor performance isn’t always the SOFTWARES fault. Just sayin…
