Nobody noticed that he prefaced his video by labelling the tips as being "detrimental"?

I have owned a Dremel most of my life but never thought of using it to carve. I have been making Christmas Ornaments for many years and will follow your instructions to decorate them this year. I just tried it and its so much easier then carving by hand. At age 90 I try to learn something new every day and today you were my mentor. I also plan to use the Dremel to add detail to my lathe turnings. Maybe I should buy a modern Dremel its much fancier then mine. Keep up nthe good work, Walt

If your glasses are fogging up then you have a poor fitting mask 🤷‍♂️

For dust protection I’d probably go for the system that the dude who makes huge swords uses. I know it doesn’t help but literally he’s got over 1M subs just type big swords and the crazy thing he has for dust protection is probably the best and most versatile.

  9. ericsiggins1007 on May 12, 2022 at 7:24 pm

Greetings. Nicely presented instructions & demonstration. I do mostly hand carved engravings, but the dremel does come in handy for some sanding, ckeaning up.

  24. Secoba Airways on May 12, 2022 at 7:50 pm

Wow! That’s epic. I would have liked to have seen how you put the stain on and took it off quickly though.

"These techniques are detrimental, and you need to know them." LOL

  41. Doc in paradise on May 12, 2022 at 8:05 pm

What do you mean the techniques are “detrimental?”
    That means they’re bad for…something?

  42. William Lovett on May 12, 2022 at 8:10 pm

Really good presentation, Cornelius. Well organized, informative, good photography. Your pleasant, likable personality comes through and makes me want to get into this hobby. Kudos and thanks.

  45. Kristi 94 on May 12, 2022 at 8:11 pm

Could we use super high grit sand paper to get the gloss effect and a bit of a mate finish instead of the poly? Or would it be too much sanding so it’s best to go with poly?

  46. Brandyn Kemmer on May 12, 2022 at 8:11 pm

    Wooow

  47. Mart Ravo on May 12, 2022 at 8:11 pm
