Let’s find out if the woodworking tools from Banggood are any good!. Brought to us by Squarespace. For 10% off your first purchase, go to: http://squarespace.com/makesomething

I purchased the five most expensive woodworking tools on Banggood.com. The tools were imported from China and arrived within two weeks. After unboxing them, I tested and reviewed each tool. I ranked them from “most recommended” to “least recommended” to assist you in deciding whether or not to invest your money. The results were surprising, and I was genuinely shocked by the quality of a few of the tools.

Up next I suggest watching this video where I bought every ad that was served to me on Facebook: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZzvYeFoqyYA&list=PLhqK_8dnaIW0-iGlP8FltSY9jAjizqw44

I’ve used Banggood a couple of times. If you don’t mind waiting for the product shipping from overseas, I can’t fault them.

On your recommendation I purchased the mitre Guage from Banggood. It arrived within 8 days to UK. I must say that you did not over-sell it when you reviewed it. I am delighted with the quality. Yes there are bells and whistles on market leading gauges but for the price I say it can’t be beaten. I too recommend the Guage.

The only query I have about the transaction is that I accessed Banggood using a browser. When I put the item into my basket I was prompted to complete using the app. So I installed it and continued to checkout. The price of the item went from £79 to £118! I uninstalled the app and completed the purchase for £79. I am not sure what was going on but it is worth watching out for it. The app did flash up a discount voucher, so whether that would have reduced the price back to £79 I can’t say.

Love the channel. Thank you for the help. 🌟

I’d argue the most expensive woodworking tool on Banggood is a 3040 or so cnc…

  5. GrimmyReaper on August 21, 2023 at 6:27 pm

So Banggood is reliable? It’s just, they have some really good prices compared to local businesses.

  6. Me Not you on August 21, 2023 at 6:28 pm

So the drill press the little “stops look to me like they might be registers to have equal spacing for say shelf pins. Drill your first hole then flip down the floppy thingy and drill your net repeat. Just a thought

People make wooden Trex sculptures with chainsaws. Wood working?

  8. The Frank Perspective on August 21, 2023 at 6:30 pm

I don’t care if it’s Banggood, Kreg or anyone else, I hate ALL of those track saw tracks for not-track saws. They suck. All of them. Clamp an aluminum edge, or get a track saw. Everything else in the middle… not so much.

bang good screwed me out of $375

  10. P Sims on August 21, 2023 at 6:34 pm

i bought a 3d printer on banggood, it was nothing like the advert. a lot of the metal parts were replaced with cheap plastic and the quality of prints was absolute garbage. i tried to return it and the postal cost was 50% more than the cost that i originally paid so after complaining with no one listening, i got in touch with my bank and as soon as i said "banggood" they instantly refunded me. that was about 3 years ago, i still have the 3d printer and havent used it since

  11. otto leeverink on August 21, 2023 at 6:35 pm

weight does not mean quality. All light metal stuff in this video is extruded aluminium.

  12. Tom Joseph on August 21, 2023 at 6:35 pm

I have that miter and it works well. I have a track system from Eureka Zone and it is fantastic. Fits any saw, has renewable edges, has router base and it is made in America (Florida)

  13. Mou Davis on August 21, 2023 at 6:36 pm

drill guard is a rip off from Woodpc….. rollers are for the fence

  14. Philip Townsend on August 21, 2023 at 6:37 pm

I’ve ordered from Banggood a few times and always found it to be a happy experience.
Other Chinese sites, not so good, fingers burned so avoid them now.

  15. MrX MrY on August 21, 2023 at 6:38 pm

Why does everyonecrefer to pocket hole jigs as "kreg jigs"? That makes no sense. Kreg is not the only company that makes pocket hole jigs, and pocket hole jigs are not the only jigs they make.

  16. Dustin Mckenzie on August 21, 2023 at 6:40 pm

the track saw does say its a marble machine guide for dolomite machines. not for the saws you’re using.

  17. Michael Fairchild on August 21, 2023 at 6:43 pm

"Fun fact. Kreg did not invent pocket holes"

Like most companies it took the idea.

  18. JW Ireland on August 21, 2023 at 6:44 pm

I built my horse stables with a chainsaw 🙂 And 5000 screws.

  19. Maker Batts on August 21, 2023 at 6:45 pm

I bought the kreg track saw guide. biggest waste of money ever. I have no problems with any other kreg products but the saw guide is a piece of junk.

  20. Eric Leaman on August 21, 2023 at 6:45 pm

You can cut wood with a chainsaw how is that not working with wood lol. #chainsawsarewoodworkingtools

  21. sunalwaysshinesonTVs on August 21, 2023 at 6:46 pm

My experience with BG. 1) every WW tool Ive ordered from them feel rock solid. 2) Not confident about their rulers. 3) One ruler I received wasnt properly calibrated, 4) The whole return process was protracted and not great, but it did get replaced -took 3 months. Nice the see a 2nd opinion on the router lift and mitre gauge. Ive been watching this WW channel for quite some time, and he does A LOT of Banggood tool reviews: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljsOiEpScaM

  22. Eric Swenson on August 21, 2023 at 6:47 pm

That track saw adapter is just doofy top to bottom.

I have the Kreg version and there’s just too much vagary with this kind of design, and the cut registration wasn’t consistent and ruined the plastic strip. Just get the full on track saw.

First part of the video you look like Smee from Peter pan 😂

  24. 1steelcobra on August 21, 2023 at 6:49 pm

That table at 0:33 looks like a knockoff of the Bora Centipede. That’s somehow more expensive since you can get Bora’s Steel 2’x4’x30" and a worktop for a total of $180.

Circular saws in China must be similar to the ones available most commonly in Japan… They’re all so small compared to standard circular saws sold in the US. Even the Mikita saws in Japan are small compared to my Mikita saw bought in the US.

    d) The "rolling feeders" stand out in Min 5:20 & especially in 5:32. The "horizontal roller" would lift the wood upwards. This means that a right angle is no longer possible. What is required is that the wood is pressed towards the worktop. The orientation is therefore wrong and probably cannot be changed.
The fact that the rollers are not lower and do not touch the wood is only relevant afterwards.

    e) At min 11:37 you can see the miter gauge from the screenshot.
The right screw with the black plastic sleeve on the half round angle has a problem with the cutout on the right side of the aluminum profile. If you set a width that requires the screw to be fixed there, you can’t use that spot because the screw can’t be fixed there. The problem will certainly affect some saws where the distance of the guide groove and the saw blade have the appropriate distance.

    f) The Miter Gauge you show for $300 is also available at banggood … for partly 120 or 150 €.

  29. Raul Adame on August 21, 2023 at 6:58 pm

I bought a drill guide from banggood, it was a cool looking black. When it arrived it was flimsy plastic and the bearing burned out in 45 seconds.

My dad for whatever reason likes to buy small stupid stuff that break in a week off of wish all the time and he said that recently the ahipping has been getting faster.

  31. Shane Christopher on August 21, 2023 at 7:00 pm

What about the smaller Dewalt circular saw? Would that work with the track saw?

  32. wolfgang gosejacob on August 21, 2023 at 7:01 pm

With Banggood (and certainly other Chinese suppliers) you have to look for prices over a longer period of time. (Ultimately, this also applies to amazon and ebay. All of them don’t offer charts to compare prices of past months).
I have also seen the circular saw stop at 120-140 €. – I bought it at 85 €.

    b) In addition, you have to compare which shop within AliExpress, Banggood, amazon or eBay sells this item – TODAY – and whether another supplier is sold out and cannot offer it at the moment.

    c) Different equipment is problematic. Here it would have to be checked whether the packages are identical, although the description differs. But who can do that?

you just reminded me of an overheard conversation I heard between 2 young girls, they where about 7 or 8. it started with a scream and then "you stupid bitch you hit me in my face" "It was a accident, no need to call me a bitch"… "Yeah, Well, It’s my favorite face" LOL

  34. Absolution Armament on August 21, 2023 at 7:02 pm

The roller feed and the miter blew my mind actually, I’m probably going to end up getting them. They even had a roller feed for table saws on their site which I may try out.

I have the miter gauge; works beautifully.

Thanks for this video. it was very informative.
I never buy from Facebook ads because I have been scammed all over the place.
Using PayPal is the best method I have found for paying online.
They have a very good resolution process.

I have the same Incra lift and found that a long Allen hex bit in a super cheap cordless drill makes for a WAY faster and convenient height adjuster than the provided tool.

  39. Nikolai Strub on August 21, 2023 at 7:05 pm

Are actually working in your shop? It looks clean like a surgery room in the hospital.

  40. William Vanhook on August 21, 2023 at 7:08 pm

Not interested in Bangood because I don’t like giving my money to China.

  41. Enzo DP on August 21, 2023 at 7:08 pm

I like the router lift. I did not see you lock the height setting. Is there a lock? Is it accurate. Ta from Western Australia.

Placed an order a month ago. My credit card was promptly changed, it is now August 5th, have not received the order. How can they charge so little? they don’t ship the merchandise.

Honestly, I think you would’ve been happy with the doweling kit if you waited for the BanGGood one. I understand you’re making a video, you don’t have the time to wait. But I bought a few things on BangGood & honestly, I havn’t been dissatisfied yet. I’ve bought a lot of cheap & high-end doweling jigs in my 30 some years of woodworking. But that one would’ve been worth the wait. It’s well made, very solid, easy to use and very accurate, nice box to store everything. It was worth it. When I bought it, it was at 64.99 CAN which is roughly 49-50$ US. Worth it

Those cheap plastic ones. They work of course. But they’re total hassles. (NOT ass holes, Hassles loll)
But I have 2. But they’re not always accurate, they move all the time. CRAP. I have solid steel ones etc. But this one, It really would’ve been a big winner for your Banggood’s test. Especially for the price, aside from the 2-300$ high end ones. I prefer this one. Good videos!
