I Sold π° $2,205 Dollars Of This Woodworking Project In One Month On ETSY | Woodworking Business
I sold π° $2,205 of this woodworking project in one month on Etsy. I couldn’t believe that I sold as much as I did because the market was honestly already very saturated. This taught me that you shouldn’t be afraid of selling your woodworking products in a saturated market because you can always offer customers a unique design or options that people will be willing to pay for. In this video you will learn what I sold and also the positives and negatives of selling such volume of this product on Etsy. I would encourage you to try and enter a saturated market. It only proves there is a demand and you never know now successfully you might be.

What do you use to ship?
only ship insured soo if the item gets damaged in shipping the shipper pays for the replacement. not you.
You have great energy
It’s always good to hear a success story, especially when people are so put off of etsy. Great to hear it work out and thanks for being so honest about the amount of spoilage involved on the whole thing – I think people gloss over that.
1:37 – You had a conversion rate of 1%
10% of 889 is 89 sells
I’ve tried so hard to sell on etsy.. Zero luck..
8 out of 800 is only 1%. Not 10%. But congratulations on the sales.
I have a 2x9x10 left over from replacing my floor joists what can I make with it to make $
What do you mean by βbeamsβ? Itβs not clear at all what youβre selling.
If he doesn’t know the difference between 1% and 10%, then I’m not going to take much of his advice.
The thumbnail with the open mouth, hands in your head like if we are 15 year old youtube gamers? When we are working in construction..
Unfollow and negative vote.
That’s a 1% conversion rate, not 10%. Still sounds great though.
That’s the biggest deterrent for me to pursue this as a side hustle. When you figure in all the time, money and energy it takes to get the materials, build stuff, packaging and mailings, manage your Etsy page, responding to customers, are you making more than minimum wage after what Etsy skims off your earnings?
Did you have a cost for the 800 visits?
Always insure items over $100. You’ll just have to add that $ to your price. Make sure the customer knows it’s insured. They will rarely complain about insured items.
