  3. Murray on June 4, 2023 at 12:31 pm

You have brought one big problem. That is a piece of art and should be stared at, not used. But it would be criminal not to use it.

How does it handle now that you’ve had it for a year?

  14. mytapoiss on June 4, 2023 at 12:39 pm

I am long time woodworking lurker. I often spend my evenings reading about woodworking or watching YT videos of woodworking (plus usual suspects AvE, ToT, etc) and when watching and reading, I am saying that I am not to be disturbed, as I am looking at the erotic material (wifey is understanding). Well, today it was not a regular erotics, it was hardcore p*rn.

..oh, and jealousy, thats what I feel – yes jealousy. Other than that – congrats on the fantastic looking (and performing I guess) tool!

  15. Michiel de Graaf on June 4, 2023 at 12:39 pm

  30. danny dano on June 4, 2023 at 1:02 pm

  31. geeznogoodname on June 4, 2023 at 1:02 pm

What a work of art! Could you have picked a harder wood end grain? 🙂 And hell yes use it! Thanks for sharing! Unfortunately they are sold out with the next batch due in September.

  32. Kiki Lang on June 4, 2023 at 1:04 pm

Can’t argue with the Cheese it’s. If you want to know a craftman, examine his tools.

  33. David Finch on June 4, 2023 at 1:04 pm

How much is the plane? I checked his website, and it just says sold on everything. I haven’t seen any mention of the price of one of these?

  34. Dude Slick on June 4, 2023 at 1:04 pm

    looks like black walnut.

  35. ThePatientArtisan on June 4, 2023 at 1:05 pm

An amazing tool! You should be so very pleased! Btw, what are the overall dimensions of the plane( LxWxH)? It looks to be really substantial, something you actually feel in your hands as you use it. Will you be giving us an in depth review after having the tool for some time now? Your thoughts would be appreciated. Be well.

  36. Koala Fan on June 4, 2023 at 1:05 pm

Do you know if he will make more? As this videos is a year old he is sold out.

  37. Ronald Defenbaugh on June 4, 2023 at 1:07 pm

    Love it!

  38. Mark Kulyas on June 4, 2023 at 1:08 pm

Can you join two different metals together like that without a chemical reaction between the two.

  39. David Jun on June 4, 2023 at 1:08 pm

On the review of this on your website, you make a lot of “ergonomic” comparisons of this to your LN rabbeting block plane (which I also have). Aside from both being block planes, aren’t these two very different block planes when it comes to both function and ergonomics….or am I missing something?

  40. Al Catraz on June 4, 2023 at 1:09 pm

    Its a beauty!
You need to sharpen your knife though….

  47. SEEITPICKITBINIT on June 4, 2023 at 1:20 pm

Nice to see a man adjust a blade with a hammer, as was intended. Never use the adjusters, wayyyy too coarse. Dovetailed infills aren’t that hard to make, just gotta watch that you use a punch to flow the material into the corners, most amateur makers mess up by not peening enough, then later reveal voids when he comes to sand the sides and sole.

  48. Paul Fowler on June 4, 2023 at 1:20 pm

    I’m so envious!
