Incredible Woodworking with Ancient Techniques of The Shrine Carpenters – Building Without Nails

Hello Everyone,
When I was a kid, my dad has told me about the reduction of manpower of traditional trades due to the industrialization and modernization of Japanese society, traditional products started to become out-dated and forgotten.
#incrediblewoodworking #ancienttecniques #carpentry

However, they’re still young people who spend all of their careers carrying on the tradition. We’d like to honor them as much as we can. So I decided to create a series of video shows about them and their work from the footage available from my friends and myself.

Today, This video will be more attractive because I have edited the script, rewrote the content, new effects work, new music, new footage added and a new creation is created as follows: “Incredible Woodworking with Ancient Techniques of The Shrine Carpenters – Building Without Nails”

This time our main character is a Miyadaiku (Carpenters who build and repair such as temples and shrines): Fujiwara Hiroki

Kongō Gumi – 株式会社金剛組: Worlds oldest continuously ongoing independent company

    日本人的建筑工艺与中国:大同小异!其木结构房屋更是别出一格!——墨斗盒;墨签与中国一样!其屋梁;柱子上的浮雕更具时代感!!其屋檐之《斗拱》也是日本木工的强项!!!!

Respect to these craftsmen. The skill they possess is important culturally, historically and financially. I’m curious about he wages of these workers. This s is a very high skilled job. Does anyone know the pay or what other careers pay a similar amount?

Imagine building those temples back then without cranes to help pick up those big heavy wood logs to put on top n etc. That’s allot of man power n days to finish them being built.
