A few years ago I bought an incomplete one (the drill holder is missing). The vise really WORKS and is irreplaceable. The Swiss did a good job.
btw there are clones of this vice and parts are interchangeable with the original zyliss

I bought the tool at a Home show in Vancouver many years ago however I never did use it. I lost the Instructional VHS Tape so finding this video on YouTube is a life saver. I have retired and now have time to play with my hobbies in my shop. Thanks for the tutorial.

Is there any way or an adapter for the Festool MFT? You would sell tons if there were a way to attach to an MFT… the only bench I will use.

I’m glad I never saw this guy live at a Home Show, I’d end up buying one! This fellow works this thing like a magician. Great demo, but $400 for a clamping vice? Maybe for some guys, but not me.

I had one 30 years ago and in a divorce lost it. I picked one up just the other day on Offer Up for 45.00. Its the basic unit but that’s all I wanted or needed. I think it’s one of the best engineered tool ever without a motor.

Hi, this is one of the best buys I’ve made recently!
Question: when the top jaws are closed the bottom jaws have a 5 mm gap. This is puzzling – I cannot ‘lock up’ to equal widths in both jaws simultaneously.
Is anyone else experiencing the same problem and … how have you solved it! ..Frustrating to say the least. Otherwise, a top class product. Lloyd.

I’ve had one of these for twenty years now. (I wish they’d come with that case back then!) I remember buying it at a wood show. My uncle John, a builder, spotted it soon after and commented that he’d owned one for 20 years then and was still finding new ways to use it both on site and off the back of his truck. A really diverse holding tool with surprising strength.

Excellent video content! Forgive me for the intrusion, I would love your initial thoughts. Have you ever tried – Antonello Astonishing Woodwork Takeover (Have a quick look on google cant remember the place now)? Ive heard some great things about it and my GF at very last completed the most beatiful woodwork creation with it.
