100% bullshit. It’s all about the blade.

Actually that experiment doesn’t really show us anything. I want to believe it’s true but your pushing by hand. Easily manipulated.

A jigsaw is not the first tool I choose to cut metal with but if it comes down to it I have a Porter Cable beater jigsaw I use. I just cut wood with my Bosch. I will say this Bosch does make the smoothest running jigsaws I’ve ever used.

*Over the years, I have used jig’s from others companies, and by far this is a sweet saw, the blade changer is great>>>**t.co/OVOi25hi7q**  and it just flows thur wood. I would buy another, and wonder why it took me so long to buy this one.*

Is this tool available in the US?

So I thought for cutting metal, you want to use the lowest speed on the jigsaw and press very firm.

Similar to drilling holes…? Low speed on the drill, and press very firm.

I did it myself. I used Stodoys woodworking plans for this.

So if the blade is the same and the orbital action is ‘roughly the same’ then the only difference really is the shorter stroke?  And that makes all the difference?
