18:15…the plastic straw , repurposed as a tool to remove excess glue. Brilliant.
I use a dollar store pencil eraser for the same purpose. Very clean.

1:10 Jesus, buy or make a pocket hole jig rather than going to all that trouble.
3:30 Jesus, buy a dowel kit or make a dowel jig rather than going through all that trouble.

Hi, Dear Mr. Celal, what is the name of the tool with which you drilled a rectangular hole at 16:16? What I need is something like this. There is 10 cm thick white eps foam. I will lay a strip of wood 3-4 cm wide and 1 cm thick so that it aligns on the bottom and top of it. So there will be a foam sandwich by the way. I glue these strips to the foam. I also want to rivet the sandwiches together by piercing the foam. The first option is to insert cylindrical wooden sticks, the second option is to try a domino, make a deep elliptical hole as you did with the probe and embed the elliptical dominoes with glue. The goal is to give the foam a skeleton. I want to make 4 such foams with a length of one meter and a width of 70 cm. would you please give me some advice?

Bana tavsiye verebilir misin?

You can do pocket holes without a Kreg jig? Who knew? 😆

  36. Blue Vireo on June 5, 2022 at 9:05 pm

Thank you…believe it or not…all the subtle techniques…the rocking of the drill bit before angling in the pockethole…the scrapping off of the excess glue with an old plastic straw…the careful measuring…snipping of the nail heads to make marks for created dowel…All these things are so valuable…along with of course the actual joinery which is brilliant !!!
