    Nicely done, my man. 🤣

Hey man the quantity of 4×4’s is wrong on your diagram. It says two. I believe it needs four

    Quality video

OK, I built my bench last year. I based it off of this plan. I have a small rental house, so there we’re plenty of F Bombs. In the end it turned out great. I built in a middle shelf and this gave me a better space to organize my tools. All in all I learned a lot during this build. Thank you.

Man, lumber has gotten ridiculous since this video. I speced this out but using pressure treated lumber as it will be outside for my wife to do plant potting stuff. 260.00 🙁

I disassembled a 3’x7′ workbench because it was way too large to handle even on wheels & a wench to bring it in. Just began building this table using the materials I already have. This time using 4" wheels. Table is very easy, economical & don’t have to worry about using pocket screws. GREAT project.

Can you get away with 1/2 inch ? Seems like even with 2×4 supports it might bow. Screws holding top cant have much to counter sink into? Do You think 3/4 would be better?

So i did my best to build this, i used 2x6s for the front and sides on the top and left the back a 2×4, i had to use pressure treated brown 4x4s that’s all the had, and i put a pegboard on the back with supports to the ground, at the time i could nto get any caster wheels but i will be getting them soon. Anyways i was wondering if the wheels will be able to hold the weight effectively and what would be the best brand and size to buy ???

Awsome and thanks for the plans

  12. Jerry S on June 20, 2022 at 9:18 pm

Do you think I could use this as the frame for a "mobile" BBQ? I’d plan on covering the sides with cement board and stacked stone ledger and use ceramic or porcelain tile for the counter.

  16. Si Anon on June 20, 2022 at 9:24 pm

I would build this but i don’t have the $30000 for the wood.

  17. Ron on June 20, 2022 at 9:24 pm

    Good job!

  18. James Joyce on June 20, 2022 at 9:25 pm

Love the strength of 4×4 legs instead of 2x4s notched, staggered, and cut various ways. Also added some 3/8" carriage bolts on the corners because I move the table around a lot both inside and outside the house.
The little extra money for heavy duty casters is well worth it if you’r going to be moving the bench around a lot. Simple easy, strong, and cheap. Love it!

  19. Mark Dandenault on June 20, 2022 at 9:29 pm

great bench! I didn’t add casters so I set the bottom shelf up about 5 inches

  20. Louie Moreno on June 20, 2022 at 9:31 pm

Really nice job man!! Thanks for the info!!

  29. wreckim on June 20, 2022 at 9:42 pm

There’s levels to this. This is at my level. Maybe. Awesome vid.

  30. Craig Penley on June 20, 2022 at 9:42 pm

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I really appreciate the details about the leg measurements which accounted for the thickness of the table top when you made your initial cuts. I can’t wait to get started on mine. Your plans and detailed narration was a huge help.

    Thank you 😊

  32. LARRYMORE MCKENZIE on June 20, 2022 at 9:46 pm

    Love the screws!

  33. Lone Star Patriot on June 20, 2022 at 9:47 pm

Great job. Simple and easy although the price has gone up significantly as I priced the material for the frame and castor wheels and it came out to about $135.00 before tax. That does not include screws or the plywood. I would roughly estimate this project costing $175-$200.

  34. NEO ViSiON on June 20, 2022 at 9:47 pm

what type of food you use to this project ?

  35. Famous Seamus on June 20, 2022 at 9:48 pm

    Hi Aaron,
What is the metal thing attached to one end of your bench?

  36. Gali Firstenberg on June 20, 2022 at 9:53 pm

Just finished building this and I love it!! Super easy instructions, the plans from the website are so handy, and best of all it’s a high-return 1-day project. Had to leave my first ever (and probably last) youtube comment to say thanks.

  37. Spencer Marsh on June 20, 2022 at 9:54 pm

awesome video. Built this bench yesterday. I cut out the middle of the worktop and screwed some of the extra plywood to the bottom of the frame 2x4s to make a spot to keep a mitersaw flush with the rest of the table

  38. Steve Andulsky on June 20, 2022 at 9:54 pm

There’s a certain beauty in simplicity. And this work bench is very simple to build, yet is plenty strong for most applications.
BTW…testing the completed bench for strength the way you did is fine, unless you live on a hill like I do. Then it doesn’t end so well.
    Thanks for the great video.

  39. dennis carreno on June 20, 2022 at 9:54 pm

    You’re funny and very informative….well ✅

  40. ppd417 on June 20, 2022 at 9:57 pm

I just built two and they came out great. Since this video was produced, the price of material (here in L.A.) has skyrocketed. Locally sourced material
    cost me $190/bench.

"I used the workbench to craft the workbench" =P

  42. John Dixon on June 20, 2022 at 9:59 pm

Thank you thank you thank you. This workbench is everything I could ever need. Great job.

  43. Bryan Kerr on June 20, 2022 at 9:59 pm

Nice job. The only difference I would make would be using 2X8s for the top.

  44. Paul Hobbs on June 20, 2022 at 10:00 pm

Building one now. This was perfect for my needs. THANK YOU!

  45. Edite Diogo on June 20, 2022 at 10:00 pm

The only power tool I own is a screw driver. Luckily my local hardware store cut the wood to size and now I have an awesome work bench! Wheels included! Thanks Mr Fix It!!
