Thank you for doing it in metric too!!!

What type of plywood are you building your jigs with? I haven’t been able to get baltic burch for two years now.

  3. Joe Baez on November 22, 2022 at 3:42 am

So I comment on your channel many years ago. I believe I asked what did for a living and you expressed being some type of engineer. You were working out of your garage back then. I have been woodworking since 09…. Are you now doing it full time and obviously your not in your garage anymore.

does the bed hardware mortise interfere with domino joints on the headboard?

  5. BeQS on November 22, 2022 at 3:44 am

  6. Jordan Dearth on November 22, 2022 at 3:47 am

I can’t help but notice Jonathan Katz-Moses is a patron of yours. I’m also suspicious that putting him at the bottom of the list was intentional. Love your work, your videos, and your humility!

  7. Chris Witek on November 22, 2022 at 3:48 am

well add this to the list of things from this channel i wanna build

  8. mark Weber on November 22, 2022 at 3:48 am

Hey, I don’t know if this is a scam or if it is you. I messaged you on instagram about making it on the short list.

I discovered your channel some days ago and it was "love at first sight". I love that there is now yelling and crazy music, and all that. What it is, is your voices, pleasant I may say, describing step by step what you do and why, and all other stof and details, in a way so even I can follow all the way. I am not a woodworker, but I’m considering very much to become one, at list as a hobby. Maybe. I hope. I know is not that easy, nothing is, but for now it is very relaxing watching you, and is like allmost smelling the fresh wood cut, if it makes any sens 🤔
Anyway, I don’t know what the future brings, but I know for sure that you guys are very talented at making furniture and telling others how to do it.
You don’t have to ask ME to subscribe 😉

"Skinning a cat," refers to a fish.

    Guess which species.

Awesome video again. Question because it wasn’t listed under featured tools. Was that a pattern but you used? I’m going to do some recessed metal legs into a table, I have bearings and spiral up cut bit, but looks like you used a pattern bit with a bearing? Thanks.

Just a few quick notes: (1) White Oak dust is deadly. It is in the same "it will kill you" category as other exotic wood. Please, wear a mask, especially when using a router! (1) Your boards must be the nicest I have ever seen from a consistency point of view. My white oak colour is all over the place and it is impossible to match anything.

  19. MixingGBP on November 22, 2022 at 4:02 am

Super cool design, guys. Like the choice of white oak with natural finish.

  20. Michael Centorcelli on November 22, 2022 at 4:04 am

As someone who has also taken college courses and have a degree in industrial design, you are 100% correct in saying your content is far more informative than anything I learned in school! Great content!

  21. slick heisenberg on November 22, 2022 at 4:06 am

For the angled and rounded cuts, wouldn’t a CNC make things easier? Or are there reasons not to use a CNC for cuts like this?

  22. Doug Tilaran on November 22, 2022 at 4:08 am

Jig is now a no-no. Fixture man. C’mon man 😉

  23. Lady Blue on November 22, 2022 at 4:09 am

    Perfection every time

  31. Tim Stratton on November 22, 2022 at 4:17 am

Wonderful build… and for those wondering about the plans, stop over-thinking and get a set now. You’ll have no regrats..er, regrets. I’ve built a few from their plans and was able to easily extrapolate what I learned into some additional furniture custom to me.

  32. esigman1 on November 22, 2022 at 4:19 am

I wonder if the center rail would be strong enough to hold without the added supports if the rail was tapered wider in the center to beam-like height with shorter ends. Similar to gussets welded onto rock crawler axles. Like an upside down plateau. You wouldn’t be able to see it from the ends or sides unless you got down on your knees

  33. John Dietz on November 22, 2022 at 4:21 am

Great design and build…thanks! Just curious what’s inside the Woodpeckers box under the tablesaw?

  34. Dec Wong on November 22, 2022 at 4:21 am

thanks for sharing your idea with us

  35. Jared Jones on November 22, 2022 at 4:22 am

Do you guys use sharpies because they show up better on video? Or would you use them even if you weren’t filming? I’d be worried about ink bleeding into my wood grain

  36. Savo Radovic on November 22, 2022 at 4:24 am

    Beautiful design

  37. Lovie Robinson Laurant on November 22, 2022 at 4:27 am

Absolutely beautiful – and was explained in a way that makes anyone feel as if they could do it

  38. John Sanchez on November 22, 2022 at 4:27 am

Excellent, this will be a project for my 16 yo son and I!

    LOVED IT ♥️

  43. webnetgamer on November 22, 2022 at 4:31 am

This may seem like a silly question, but what happens with all the wood dust that gets sucked up in your wood planer? Is there anything that it can be reused for?

  44. Matthew O'Hara on November 22, 2022 at 4:32 am

"…and until then, you can sleep on it." The build was beautiful, but that line made me hit the subscribe button

  45. ahmad safy on November 22, 2022 at 4:36 am

  46. Dade Abrahams on November 22, 2022 at 4:37 am

What app do you guys use to draw up your plans? i know of Shapr3D and SketchUp

  47. Ben Schultz on November 22, 2022 at 4:38 am

I don’t like the fact that you put no light stain that brings the grain out a little better but I do like the way the bed looks.

  48. Andrés Ruiz on November 22, 2022 at 4:38 am

Beautiful BEAUTIFUL piece of furniture. Totally loved it!
I’m gonna procrastinate a lot with your videos.
