3:58 Be very careful using the screw to remove the hole cutter plug. There are holes in the top of the hole cutter and if the screw goes into one of the holes, it goes through your hand. Better to put the hole cutter in a vise or pliers or a pipe wrench instead of holding it in your hand. Better yet, push a nail or screw into the hole from the top and push the plug out.

Most of the ideas with those wires could work in a pinch, but their connection can loosen over time, especially making the one where you just tied two together at their ends a bad idea to use on its own. It’s best to supplement all these with some good old fashioned electrical-grade solder

A good tip is you never cut tie wraps, it creates a razor sharp edge. You twist the tail end off
The Western Union Splice is quicker and easier. Makes better connection too.
