Justice is a subjective term, determined entirely by culture. In the Muslim world, throwing a homosexual off a rooftop is justice because they offend their God’s word. Also in the Muslim world, a woman can be stoned to death for simply walking without a head covering or have her head chopped off at the mere accusation of infidelity & it will be seen by the public en masse as "justice". As a westerner, I whole heartedly disagree, BUT, who am I to govern the cultures of other people? Who am I to COLONIZE their sense of justice? Did you know in modern day African countries, albino’s are hunted down & chopped up because local tribes believe them to be like a lucky rabbits foot? & how many men, women & children are you willing to slaughter because of their CULTURAL beliefs?
The first half was good. Not saying the second half was bad. I’ve read the injustice comic and there are so many good parts the happens in the series. This movie is basically a watered down version of the first half of injustice. Because Amazo was sent to a city and

He basically kills everyone. And then the story continues on. In the story Superman doesn’t really have a problem with amazo deleting the town.
So to end the story they made Superman grow a conscience. Which in the real story Superman never does and never backs down from his belief.
There is an entire teen Titan ark. There is an entire green lantern Ark where all the green lanterns and yellow and red landarns get involved. And princess Diana Wonder Woman doesn’t show any regret. I’m guessing they either didn’t want to go too dark since the second half gets pretty brutal or they didn’t couldn’t afford to put all those hero’s in JUICY a movie or series. I think this movie should have been part one. The second movie would be the teen Titan and lantern ark, and the 3rd movie would be injustice part 2

Nightwing arc was weird and as a big GL and flash fan was sad they got cut out early. Fight scenes were great, loved the hawkman/cyborg vs amazo. Overall 3.5 maybe 4 out of 5.

Fun fact: The chess match in the outer space scene is an impossible game. I discovered this by trying to play out the game on my own chess set. First, there’s a continuity error between the first and second shots of the game where the black and white tiles switch places (to see this, pay attention to the diagonals of the queenside rook. The first shot is the correct one if anyone’s curious). Second, black’s king and queen are in the wrong starting positions and should be switched. Third, even though we don’t see all the moves, we know that the scenario on move 4 is impossible. Fourth, when white correctly declares check on the impossible board (bishop on A7 threatens king on B8), black makes a move that doesn’t get him out of check, instead threatening white’s queen on G4. White then takes a pawn with his queen and declares check??? (I guess he’s technically not wrong, but the only reason for that is because black didn’t get out of check the turn before, which is illegal.) Fifth, the board position the turn after that is impossible EVEN IF we accept everything we’ve seen so far. Black is now miraculously out of check and seems to have gained tremendous advantage. The last few moves pass with no errors whatsoever as black closes in and checkmates his opponent. I think what happened is that they wrote the dialogue first and had trouble making it work with the actual chess game, so they fudged the chess game a bit to match the subtext of the scene. If they had to sacrifice one or the other, I think they made a smart decision, but honestly they could have probably made both work if they’d just consulted a chess expert or copied a famous game. Still a great scene, just not great chess lol.

I know Selina is technically a criminal, but that doesn’t make her a bad person. Deep down inside, she has kindness and compassion. Especially towards Bruce. When Dick died, she let him break down into her hands and consoled him. Excellent character development for Catwoman.
Also, I’m glad they had Wonder Woman wake up and realize that Superman’s POV is wrong and dangerous, unlike in the video games.
