With so many simple techniques for making wooden dowel, it begs the question, why is it so expensive to buy?
Your clever hacks are superb 👍

Awesome ideas as always and well executed, but shouldn’t the title be, "6 ways to make dowel"? BTW, where do you find the time to create all of your wonderful furniture, etc if you have to make all of your own dowel? 😉

I would love to see you do large posts turned from squares to round 4 to 6 inch!!! That would be awesome!

  16. Юрий Блажиевский on March 28, 2023 at 7:54 am

  20. Arizona Heatwave on March 28, 2023 at 7:57 am

Where in the hell do you find 1.5” thick plywood????

  21. YouTuber on March 28, 2023 at 7:57 am

All these hacks are very well done with the exception to #4. Not a reflection of JSK-koubou talent. I’ve tried #4 a few different times and it sometimes ends up the way his did with leaving traces of some flat areas as his did in close inspection shown in the video. The others are great. Thanks

    Зачем тебе столько палочек?

  23. Nick Brutanna on March 28, 2023 at 7:58 am

Love your stuff, but this would be better called "6 ways to make wooden dowels".

  24. ABentPaperclip on March 28, 2023 at 8:00 am

TIL everything is a dowel jig if you try hard enough

  25. Stephen Jokela on March 28, 2023 at 8:01 am

Much respect to you sir! Your "home-made" fixtures and shop tools are superior to most of what is available commercially. Thank you for sharing your ideas with us!

  26. Reg Botterill on March 28, 2023 at 8:01 am

been an engineer for 60 years and NEVER seen any body use a hacksaw double handed like that. very bad practice. End product was clever though.

It is your right for everyone who enters your channel to support this creativity with a like, as everyone benefits from this creativity, whatever its level.
As for entering and benefiting, then sneaking out, this is absolutely immoral. There is no proportionality between the entrants and the likes
This is just an invitation to everyone who loves creativity to support the owner of creativity. Thank you for your creations. Greetings

  33. Thomas Gronek on March 28, 2023 at 8:08 am

Tip for you: The machinists vice at the beginning: Scissor jacks for cars, have a beautiful shaft with acme threads, and a matching nut (look around for the older styles that have better shafts, some have nuts, some have a flat end with a hole, for a ‘Tommy bar’. Junk yard for 5 bucks, (or steal your neighbors) Thanks for the video.
