“Miyadaiku” is a special carpentry craftsperson with tradition and high skills who builds and repairs temples and shrines. The Miyadaiku training schools in Japan pass on traditional Japanese skills to the younger generation and train them to become Miyadaiku.
Mr. Ichikawa, a master carpenter from the Miyadaiku training school in Kanagawa, will show us his Japanese woodworking skills using SUIZAN Japanese saws.
