Good design, Dave. Agree with the french cleats functionality, most of my tools are also on cleats. And yes, I didn’t think about the blade in my jigsaw as well while designing my holder. Haha. πŸ˜€

Love your designs for all the tools. Definitely go get yourself the Makita 18V impact driver to go with your drill, it’s a great machine and will save you that switch-up time.

French cleat system is awesome, my new workshop will have them on one wall. This is a simple but very flexible storage system. Thanks for the inspiration. Greeting from Wiltshire.

Nice build Dave, if you want to position the holder under another,, just trim off the top edge of the vertical guides few inches so the saw doesn’t need to travel full length. Leave enough guide to keep the tool in place.
Stay safe & have a good Christmas with family.

  27. Bluey Pastle - Woodworking on October 23, 2022 at 4:26 am

Great work David, your workshop is well organised and those individual holders for everything are amazing. As for the one drill problem, that we all have had, I use these (similar ones) and they are worth it and I even keep it in my drill now as it is quick https://www.amazon.co.uk/Bosch-Titanium-Drill-Driving-43-Piece/dp/B001419S9S/ref=sr_1_16?crid=22HBMSDGGZL0B&dchild=1&keywords=quick+change+drill+bits&qid=1608455277&sprefix=quick+change+%2Caps%2C469&sr=8-16
    Keep on creating.
    Cheers, Bluey πŸ‘

I loved the fact that you used a hole saw to draw around then used the jigsaw to cut out the shape.
