Bonus video for you guys! I just wanted to share the new leather apron I got from my friends Patrick and Michelle from Leather by Dragonfly. You guys probably know by now that I like to wear an apron in my shop and theirs is the only one I would choose. In this short video I take you all along as I unbox and set up my new apron. I AM IN LOVE WITH IT! Enjoy.

That one is way better. The first one looked goofy AF.
OKIE DOKIE HOW MUCH ?
Another beautiful Apron sir,
I have watched this all the way to the end, and love it.
Question is, 37 seconds in you say you have partnered with them to make a new apron, did you guys merge your companies together? Just a hair confused on the wording.
Anyhow, congrats on the new partnership y’all have that is some exciting news.
I wish you all the best of luck.
Dale
Beautiful apron. I love the contrasting thread. Thanks for sharing the unboxing with the rest of us.
Pretty slick Jason, great design on the apron. You are so right, an apron is probably the most useful tool in the shop. I finally gave in and bought one, and now I wonder why I waited. That realization has become especially true for me now, because I have a fractured ankle. Trying to move around the shop on crutches trying to carry tools or glue bottles in your hand, forget it. For woodworkers with limited mobility, an apron is a must. And when I’m back on my feet, I won’t have to waste time looking for my pencil or tape measure.
That is one FANTASTIC apron! And the US flag is a nice added touch to it.
Dam, I can buy the whole cow cheaper than that apron
Sweet apron! I’m trying very hard to tame my hatred of Festool lol, but the apron is bitchin!
It’s really nice…but my OCD would take over and the top set of pockets not being centered would drive me crazy. Not sure how they missed that.
Wow, not sure of the time frame but I only just saw the other one! Couldn’t see the square pocket though
Verrry nice apron! Dragonfly did a great job building it…very professional looking. I look forward to putting in my order for one!
Nice apron. I don’t understand the festool green.
What made you decide to get a new one?
Jason, can you provide more info on what your called your "Festool Mulitool"? I can seem to find anything on it online. When I search for that term, I get results referring to their oscillating multitool and I can’t find any mention of anything resembling what you have on their website. Thanks!
Rich Eisen? Anyone?
Very nice. Do you know if they do custom stuff vs just aprons? I’m not a big apron fan, but the vest Samurai Carpenter made a few years ago looks perfect for me. I’d like to have something along those lines made (without copying him directly).
It looks awesome.
Awesome apron and very well thought out. Gives me ideas on how to change mine up a little.
Sweet leather Jason! Looks great and should be productive for you since you designed it with the tools you use. Congrats!
Jason…can you make an affiliate link style list of all the items in your apron please
Jason – love this new version. Your original vid was the inspiration for asking for this for Christmas. I haven’t set up the Skype call with Patrick and Michelle yet, but I plan to do that soonest. I just needed a little more time in my new shop over the holidays to really settle on how I wear and use tools. Turns out, its pretty nearly exactly how your new apron is laid out. Thanks for the inspiration!
