Low Angle Woodworking Block Plane – WoodRiver
Low Angle Woodworking Block Plane – WoodRiver
The low angle woodworking block plane is one of my favorite planes. Low angle planes are great for so many tasks, and today we will be looking at a few of those in this video. If you are new to woodworking planes and don’t know which one to buy first, let me suggest buying a low angle block plane.

you are very good teacher. no fluff, just straight facts. I am now retired and want to learn and do some woodworking. God Bless You
This was just what I needed. I’m gravitating to your videos more and more for reliable information.
Hit a snag on the website — I would fill in my information and hit submit, but the page would load back to the unfilled submission page. I did allow pop-ups just in case that was it, but no dice. Sorry, the person who submitted their info 3 times over was me.
Awesome as always thank you! I have registered online, fingers crossed 🤞🏻
I bought a plane once and couldn’t cut anything with it so I called it a piece of junk and returned it. 😂 I needed to watch this first!!!
That was a great video! You are so helpful. Do you know where I can buy a plane like yours? Thank you so much!
I can’t seem to find your classified routers
Can you do a video on baic wood working with bevel chisels, currently butchering the wood.
Can you please recommend a plane that does well in removing glue from the seams of a joint? Or would you recommend sanding the glue off? Thanks much
Thank you for the overview. You explained the block plane very well and I found it informative and helpful! Another great presentation!
Dude – Gravy Master’s gonna hit you with some real talk right now. I just got into woodworking a couple of weeks ago. I turned 40 recently and I’ve always been interested my whole life, so here we are.
I have watched so many YouTube videos in the last two weeks – binge watching for hours on end trying to grasp all the basic concepts. You are absolutely, without a doubt my favorite teacher so far. You have an excellent teaching style that really seems to click with me. I bought all the basic equipment except for a table and miter saw (for now,) so all your videos on circular saws and how to get the most out of them are particularly awesome for me. I signed up on the website to be a beta tester as well.
Thank you so much for everything – it is truly and genuinely appreciated!
