Make a Panel Saw from a Circular Saws / Hacks
Amazing device that uses a circular saw as a panel saw.
I made a manual panel saw with a parallel link for easy clamping.

Very nice work, though not really practical. It would be easier to cut small panels on a table saw, and large panels with a Festool track saw. Nice video though.
Be fatto Maestro un capolavoro 👍💪
Excellent video and great job! Nice and safe design! 👍
I was just thinking this guys builds must be so expensive but then it gets the views and obviously pays off so who cares
I’m only 40 seconds in and I already want to make one for myself! It’s damn clever!
全てが完璧!スイッチが最上部がまたいい!小さい子供は届かないよね!
This is an amazing build but only half of a video. This presentation needs a voice-over to explain what he is doing as well as why. For instance, why has he made a feudal attempt at a riving knife when it is made for breaking down sheet goods and will never see a rip cut through a slab of hard wood and that thin piece of sheet metal would never hold the kerf open while sawing, anyway. The riving knife has to be about as wide as the kerf that is being cut (in other words, the width of the blade) with the leading edge of it being chamfered to a wedge shape for entry into the kerf. My question #2 is why did he elect to make the build with the circular saw hidden behind the jig with the blade pointing at you making the build way over complex, more expensive than it needs to be, and consume so much more engineering time. The third question I have is Why did he make this unit free standing when he has it hard wired in with Romex? Why not just mount it on the wall?
Pretty awesome. I like the way you placed the saw behind instead of the cutting arm. Sweet!
What happens with the weight block when you change the angle from vertical? Does it mingle?
Nice job as always. We shared this video on our homemade tools forum this week 😎
This is genius and i could see great use for it especially for hardware stores that don’t provide a cutting service for sheet material as the other versions of the type of wall mounted saw wouldn’t be as safe as this one is due to the blade being exposed the whole time. Therefore insurance is usually the problem. But with this one, its super clever and a hell of a lot safer so I’d imagine insurance wouldn’t be as expensive. You deserve all the views and likes you get, master creator. Respect
Wow, you did a great job on what I was looking for.
I think it’s probably a solution that you will make after a lot of thought after the first product. A really great solution.
I’m very impressed!
Amazing!!!!!! Wow! Do you sell the layout prints?
I love this! Definitely adding that to the new year project list!
Hello I just bought your plan’s to wall saw but it didn’t have a place to put my address. Used PayPal so don’t know if I’m going to get my plan’s. Can you help me Larry
Wow!!! Superb ingenuity!!! I wish I could buy one like this as I have no tools and materials to do this here in the Philippines. How much will it cost me?
Greaaaat build! Well done. The only things missing are the kitchen sink and CNC steppers and ball screws. 🙂
This is cool and all, but does anyone know where to buy these aluminum materials?
I looks awesome but I don’t think I want to see the price tag
Will the measuring tape be erased quickly? Or a material doesn’t touch it, I didn’t see well…
The panel design is fantastic, you could design a pantorouter
Precisión y exactitud, da gusto ver lo limpio que trabaja. Felicitación!!!!!
perdon aca en uruguay no consigo nada de eso asi que no me sirve
Rancangan Anda Sangat Sangat Bagus Kombinasi Kayu dan Logam.
Very nice project 😊
every time I watch your videos I get angry at the country I live in (Brazil) a country of corrupt governments, where the prices of these pieces are absurdly expensive, and to make matters worse, in the 2022 elections we elected a convicted thief in higher courts of justice
Those allen keys and the centre punch seem like excellent tools. Do you have links to buy them?
I admire your precision! Although we had a panel cutter in the shop for 4×2 meter panels. I guess the price was about the half of you linear rails only. 😉
Yeah…not bad.
GOOD VIDEO! So happy to announce that I have gained financial freedom by investing in digital currency. Now I know that multi creation of various streams of income is the ideal Principle for financial sustainability.
Чистая работа 👍
このパラレルリンク加工機を作るのにどれぐらいの費用がかかったのでしょうか?
отличная идея. очень компактно. 👍
I *love* watching these vids. No music, no talking, just beautiful design. My one problem is that a lot of them now require crazy expensive looking components, and that was my immediate thought as soon as the first slider thing appeared on screen. It would be awesome to see builds that don’t require one to spend hundreds in components.
Great design, great video.
Thanks for sharing.
I have no more words to describe how amazing your work is…
shit, this has to be the best design for a panel saw I’ve ever seen. Gonna have to CAD up a version in EMT tubing tonight!
The Home Depot ones cuts both vertically and horizontally.
Un muy buen invento fantástico 👍 👌
Very Nice
TOP 💯
These parts might be cheap in China but in the USA thats 600 dollars worth of slide berrings and rails. And its overkill for what its doing.
This is great but you can use smaller components and get good results,
I might opt for 8020 track or something like it. The bars not too much but a berring that big. Lot of money.
If your using items this big for a panel saw, you could make it do 2 jobs, panel saw or add on sliding table for table saw.
The slide berrings and rods are big enough to use making a sliding table saw wing.
Hello from Taipei! Always amazing work .. Can you put links to where you buy the rails and rods that you use?
That’s one of the smartest build I ever seen
wow!? crazy
Estraordinario trabajo, felicitaciones y gracias por compartirlo! Saludos desde Colombia!
Buongiorno lei per me è assolutamente fantastico… Per curiosità volendo comprarla la venderebbe e quanto costerebbe… Aspetto la sua gentile risposta… Grazie buonlavoro
That is amazing and very well designed. The only thing I saw "wrong" is that you used a SHIFTING SPANNER on some of the bolts.
But yes, that is probably being petty.
You are an inspiration…..
