Make Long Curves with a Simple Drawing Bow – Woodworking

Learn how to quickly make an easy drawing bow to trace out long curves on your woodworking projects. Made with materials found around the shop, this is a cheap way to achieve decent results.

    Very cool. Two finish nails in the bench as stops for the work piece so it does not slide around, lined up at the marks you made for the start and stop of your curve. Nails need to be tall enough to support the bender (bow) on top of the work piece. Push the bow and make the curve and mark the outside edge of the bow. Keep up the vids, love the folding table saw out feed table.

    I learned another way to scribe and cut a radius but forgot so I looked it up. Your way is much simpler, and easier to work with. I’ll tell all the guys I work with about this method because it will save a lot of time and effort 🤙
