    Love your ideas so much❤️

  2. Ba Ri on March 15, 2023 at 7:18 am

Linseed oil is food safe and can be used for the boards.

  3. Susan Puckett on March 15, 2023 at 7:20 am

Could you possible put a link in to the video where you decorate the cutting boards. I watched it first but cannot find it again, even in my history. I love everything you do! I am going to try some of it! I just bought supplies!

  4. Jerry Mcswain on March 15, 2023 at 7:21 am

Cutting boards are suppoto be made from hardwoods. Oak .. walnut … pecan etc. Pine ..cedar etc are soft and will leave the cut marks in the wood.

  5. dan cab on March 15, 2023 at 7:23 am

Can I ask how much you sell them for?

  6. Delton Bray on March 15, 2023 at 7:25 am

Hardwoods should be used for food grade boards.

  7. Stan Mondzelewski on March 15, 2023 at 7:26 am

As far as use and food safe. Use hardwoods and finish with mineral oil anf board butter

  8. Kandie Candelaria on March 15, 2023 at 7:26 am

    How do you price them?

  9. Miss Interpret on March 15, 2023 at 7:26 am

Hello there. I’m new to your channel and just liked, Subscribed and set the notification bell.
Very informative video, may I ask you a question please? Are the printing on the boards a stick-on or are they hand painted?

  10. Jeanne Aguirre on March 15, 2023 at 7:27 am

Question… can the paper graphics be applied to flat metal in the same manner as applied to wood? My husband cuts metal artwork with a plasma cutter & it seems like a good fit. Thanks!

  11. I8DPIE on March 15, 2023 at 7:28 am

Curious where you sell these since your Etsy shop is just graphics.

  12. Pilgrim Piper on March 15, 2023 at 7:28 am

Hello. After you are finished sanding, how do you clean the dust off before staining ? Peace be with you

Thank you – I use my own beeswax for everything I make. Totally food safe!

  15. Thomas Desalle on March 15, 2023 at 7:31 am

Really, some cutting board that cannot be use to cut anything on. Seems pointless to me, people would buy anything nowadays….

  16. Our Upcycled Life on March 15, 2023 at 7:33 am

A lot of people have been asking if these are food safe. As stated in the video the ones I make are for decor purpose only ❤️

  17. IrishRnr56 on March 15, 2023 at 7:34 am

    You are Awsome!

  21. Joy Bidwell on March 15, 2023 at 7:41 am

Wow! Beautiful! If these boards were in the dump section I’m thinking they may have been warped a little? Is that correct? If so, game changer since it’s inevitable I end up bringing a warped board home and then not know what to do with it. I loved this tutorial. Heading now to check out your other ones!

  22. Lillie Burns on March 15, 2023 at 7:42 am

Love this. Do you have a template for these that you can share? Thank you.

  23. Christine Herold on March 15, 2023 at 7:43 am

  27. Mihai Constantin on March 15, 2023 at 7:46 am

idiot…salvaged wood is not ok to do cutting boards…or even for animal consumption….pallet wood is impregnated with chemicals for weather protection, used construction wood is impregnated with chemicals for protection or with chemicals from concrete pouring…..😁

  28. Melissa Taylor on March 15, 2023 at 7:46 am

Hi! Love your videos! You may have already said this but What kind of wood is that?

  29. Susan Smith on March 15, 2023 at 7:47 am

    They’re gorgeous

  30. KMF on March 15, 2023 at 7:51 am

I’ve made some cutting boards recently and none of them sold. Do you think they sell better if you paint them and put a sign on them? I tried a few that I left raw wood or just stained and a few that were decor with either glass and resin or a sign. I priced them all low at $25-30.

  31. Danny Burch on March 15, 2023 at 7:51 am

    It should be hard wood.

I found that when making my work look aged, i take a handful of gravel, throw it on the driveway, put the piece down on it and walk on it, also taking my feet and dragging it over the gravel..
Works great, and i can make it look as aged and worn as i want, or lightly worn.
I used to use a hammer, and icepick, chain, etc…but this does the job better..
    Thanks for the great video!

  34. Rick Ramirez Ricks2Cents on March 15, 2023 at 7:54 am

Much easier to use a Flush Trim Router Bit.

  35. Jared Baker on March 15, 2023 at 7:55 am

Noooooooo, please don’t use just any wood for cutting boards softwood and woods with open pores can hold bacteria even after washing that can make your customers sick!

  36. Colin on March 15, 2023 at 7:58 am

Wow! Housewives will buy just about anything that they think is in style.

  37. Christie matthews on March 15, 2023 at 7:59 am

I’d hate to put bread on wood from the dump.

  40. Channahs is MoxZ on March 15, 2023 at 8:01 am

In our current economy, I’m all about doing these things for Christmas presents!

  41. Gurshaan Basra on March 15, 2023 at 8:04 am

7:43 where did u get the templates? Or do you just sell them as I ans they have to put on the stickers?

  42. Arthur Gostick on March 15, 2023 at 8:05 am

I’m curious about the wood pile at the dump. Our dump doesn’t let you take anything. They are very attached to their trash. Your can just go look through a wood pile?

Kudos to you for teaching using basic tools, that can be a big hurdle for the novice. You’re so creative!

  45. Gurshaan Basra on March 15, 2023 at 8:08 am

3:12 plz note that when using power tools there’s some tools that u MUST NOT USE GLOVES WITH because it’ll get caught and ull have a bad day.

  47. 7 O'clock Miracles on March 15, 2023 at 8:10 am

    Thanks!

  48. Rick Ramirez Ricks2Cents on March 15, 2023 at 8:11 am

I’m not sure I’d sell a Cutting Board made from Wood from the Dump.

  49. KMF on March 15, 2023 at 8:11 am

I can’t believe how many people commented on them not being food safe when she mentioned that numerous times and you could clearly see they were for decorative purposes only.

  50. scott wagg on March 15, 2023 at 8:11 am

Wood from the dump for a board that will have food on it? Sounds like a great idea.
