Make your own (cheap and easy) Hand Plane

Make your own (cheap and easy) Hand Plane

I had been searching the market for new hand planes to my workshop. There are several brands and models but they’re usually so expensive tools, so after a long research on the internet, I figured out how to recycle my old cutting discs from circular saw and plywood remains.

I don’t know if u know this but you never put your hand plane on its face because it dulls the blade and rounds the edge of the blade

I have seen many methods when it comes to making planes and I can confidently say without any doubt that your method is the best so far but my only worry is the material you used which is plywood, is it strong enough for making plane?

Ok, so we want to make a ‘cheap and easy’ hand plane but need expensive and heavyweight equipment to do this. LOL! Seriously. This misses the point of poor man’s DIY.

I think you are using water stones there and not oil stones, you use water stones with water and oil for oil stones.
