Making a 1-piece chamfer plane jig – Hand tools only

Making a 1-piece chamfer plane jig from a single piece of an offcut Tasmanian Blackwood (Acacia Melanoxylon) with hand tools only. Finished with pure tung oil mixed with pure gum turpentine.

The jig is secured by friction fit to a Stanley block plane to make a consistent 45 degree chamfer.

Good idea, worth making one of those as I just eyeball it and the chamfer ends up looking rustic LOL. But making it look beautiful is taking it to the next level and worth it too.
