Making an English Mitre plane part 10 (Making the box)

Making an English Mitre plane part 10 (Making the box)

In the final part of this series I make the box for the Mitre plane out of Iroko wood (Chlorophora excelsa) and Tulip wood (Liriodendron tulipifera) for the liner. Later I test the plane on some Walnut wood (Juglandaceae) and compare it’s function against a Record block plane.
I really do hope you have enjoyed this series, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed making it, so much so that I’ve started another!

Great series and I loved the detail you went into, I’m going to start planning to make one as I’ve wanted one since I was an apprentice.
