Accurate measuring and marking is the foundation of great woodworking.

In this video I will show you five marking tips that will help any beginner woodworker with measuring, marking and layout of their projects, how to use the correct marking tools to avoid common mistakes and take a step closer to those flawless joints they dream of.

I have tried to keep this simple, using basic tools like a marking knife and marking gauge and have stayed away from expensive equipment that might be beyond the reach of those new to our hobby.     Great tip…bring the straight edge to the pencil!
    I just bought my first digital calipers, but they don’t have the depth guide that plunges out the bottom
