We visited with wood artisan Tom Marschall at the 2017 Texas Mesquite Arts Festival. Marschall makes custom furniture and other pieces from mesquite.
Texas Mesquite Arts Festival features turners, sculptors, furniture makers who create home accessories and various artisan works made from mesquite. First held in 1992, the free festival occurs each October on the Marktplatz in historic Fredericksburg.
