Milling my Mesquite for future projects
Milling my Mesquite for future projects
I had to cut down 3 Mesquite trees to make room for a shop/garage that we are building and saved some of the using logs for milling. My friend Matt has a huge mill and this is a quick video of the process.
Tucson
reminds me of the old burlwood coffee tables 🙂
Hi this not related to the video there is update for the head unit Rel_A1.19.17.20 NAFTA
Wow, you have some big/old mesquites in your yard. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the boards. Suggestion: since it looks like your channel is continuing to diversify, consider organizing the home page into sections using playlists. I know you have some playlists already. See my channel as an example, where I’ve organized into gear reviews, iMovie tips, etc. See the how-to page here: https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/3027787?hl=en
I really love mesquite and love how furniture and wood projects come out with this beautiful hardwood.
Man, I’m envious. I just moved away from Texas last year, and losing access to mesquite is my biggest regret. It’s my favorite lumber.
Milling those small pieces is a pain for sure. You could always air dry it for a few weeks and then kiln dry it.
Is there an update video?
Would make a sweet live edge resin kitchen/coffee table cheers
Hey Rick that’s some piece of equipment! Never saw that at Home Depot or Lowe’s! Also too big to pull behind your Crosstrek! Best of Luck at the Subaru dealer tomorrow!
